My wife and I just returned from a trip to fish at Blue Bayou Guatemala. We had a blast! The villa was very nice with a pool and cabana. We fished for 3 days, and released a total of 23 sailfish and a 350lb blue marlin. They said the fishing was slow compared to normal, but we were very excited... More

By far the best fishing trip I have been on. All aspects of this trip were better than I anticipated right from the start. Flying from NY City to Guatemala was a breeze with a 50 min.Layover in Atlanta, just enough time to stretch our legs and get a cup of mud. When we landed in Guatemala Captain Chris was waiting... From the beginning our experience with Blue Bayou was beyond expectations. Chris was very attentive and helpful when organizing our stay, responding to emails within hours, providing us with important information and ensuring we'd be set up with the appropriate gear. It was reassuring that the first leg of our trip to a new region would have all the logistics... More

My fiance wanted to take me to catch sailfish for my 30th birthday. We decided on Guatemala; the bite is one of the best in the world and the country was supposed to be beautiful also (it was). We decided to book with Blue Bayou because he (Chris) was very informative and helpful during the planning stages of the trip.... More

Our experience at Casa Starrs was beyond delightful!!! This is the perfect way to do Antigua. Patricia and Chris were incredibly kind and accomodating. Their place is so beautiful and charming, and we could not have enjoyed our stay more- they are the perfect B&B hosts. The rooms are private, and in a seperate wing of the house. The rooftop... More

My buddy Dan and I live in Wisconsin and wanted to take a trip to sailfish country for the obvious unreal fishing. We booked a 3 day fishing trip with Chris who's from Michigan and bilingual. This was a big help since we don't know a lick of Spanish. He picked us up from the very nice airport in the... More

Casa Starrs and Antigua are amazing. I spent a month traveling through Central America and ended my trip with a four day stay at Casa Starrs in Antigua, which was the best decision of my trip. Chris and Patti Starrs were phenomenal hosts and my stay at their B&B was excellent. They provided an amazing room with private bathroom (including... More

We stayed at Casa Starrs in April, 2011 and could not of been happier! Christopher and his wife Patricia were great hosts, the house is set up perfect for a B & B concept. We had our own wing of the house, so we had our own private space, which we really enjoyed, and a beautiful outdoor roof top terrace... More

Casa Starrs is the kind of B&B you are looking for when travelling. Chris Starrs from Michigan and his wife Patricia have furnished and decorated this little oasis with a lot a taste. It is the perfect base from which to explore the beautifull colonial town of Antigua. While not directly in the town center, it is only a short... More
