Just returned from 5 nights at Hotel Cirilo. It was an amazing property in every way. The rooms are literally built into / around the ruins, and are just stunning. I've included a few pics that show just how amazing this property is. Hotel Cirilo is literally a sanctuary set just far enough away from the action in town, but... More

We stayed four nights at Hotel Cirilo at the start of a month long honeymoon around Central America. We couldn't have asked for a better start. The hotel is very well designed and we loved the way it's built around ruins. It's in a quiet location but the town is easily accessible. Breakfast was delicious. Service, well we seriously couldn't... More

We spent three nights at Hotel Cirilo and will certainly return someday (especially because Antigua is such a charming and wonderful city). Ricardo and Lucky (that explains the review title) were absolutely incredible hosts, and the entire staff at the hotel is terrific. Everyone here truly goes out of their way to accommodate their guests...I felt privileged to be one... More

We stayed in Hotel Cirilo for 3 nights, from outside you really do not see much but once you are inside it is a different story breathtaking grounds set among ruins.Ricardo to owner is a real professional who knows how accommodate the guests. We had a great time and definitely would go back again.

My new wife was almost speechless when she saw this place.... and let me tell you that is saying a lot! The hotel was so well manicured and had the perfect balance for rustic and new. The service and hospitality was impeccable.

I traveled from California to Guatemala in April. I booked Cirilo on the advice of a friend who was there at Christmas. This place is amazing. 7 beautiful rooms overlooking a courtyard. Wide open space, great rooms with high ceilings. Quiet. Peaceful. Very spa like in a simplistic, elegant way. The hotel is about 800 meters from Park Central -... More

I recently stayed three nights at Hotel Cirilo with my wife and children, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is very attractive, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff is accommodating. Choosing a place to stay in Antigua is not easy -- in fact, with over 100 hotels to choose from, I found the task... More

This is the first review I have ever written but this hotel deserves it. I have been staying at luxury hotels throughout Guatemala during a 13 day trip. This hotel is gorgeous, the staff incredibly attentive. Deffinately stay here is you come.

My BFF stayed during Holy Week. The 12 room hotel is build around the ruins of a church. The owner is onsite and handsome on. The staff is sweet especially Flores. Its out of the hub bub of Parque Central but within walking distance. The breakfasts are yummy and the dinner menú does the trick if you just dont feel... More
