Book room 7 if you can. The head board is a 17th century wall of the church ruins. Can't say enough about the architectural design incorporated into the ruins. Simply Beautiful!! Oscar the manager is a wonderful informative host. Muchos-Gracias! A must stay!!

We had 2 rooms in this charming hotel and all of us had a wonderful experience. The staff were always very helpful, we felt at home, everything was perfect. Whenever we asked for directions to go somewhere in town, they were kind enough to give us a ride or walk with us to show us the way.We had the breakfast... More

This hotel looks like a vampire house. I went to see it to stay here and turned away. The inside is alright the pool is very small but the outside ehhh... Plus when the guy opened the door he treated us as if he were beggars instead of people who were coming to stay at the hotel 😠 no never... More

Boutique Hotel: "A small hotel in a unique setting with upscale accommodation." Even this definition seems a little too bland & doesn't do justice to just how special the Hotel Cirilo was for my wife & I when we visited in June 2015. This accommodation was definitely the best place we stayed in in all of Guatemala - & what... More

I had a good feeling about Hotel Cirilo when I contacted them via email and I received a rapid response. From then on it was always timely and reliable. All my travel requests were addressed proactively and tactfully. The stay was impeccable for various reasons, most notably, the personal touch and communication with the owner and his closed knit team.... More

We had the very good fortune of staying at the Hotel Cirilo at the end of our trip to Guatemala. The hotel is built into the ruins of a 17th C church. The rooms are elegant and the facilities very modern. The sitting area (and swimming pool) open up to a garden with restored wall fragments from the ancient buildings... More

Hotel Cirilo is perfect. A warm reception, an absolutely stunning oasis. It was hard to leave this hotel everyday to explore Antigua. I wish I had stayed longer than three nights so I could have spent more time in the gardens, in the room, in the restaurant and in the grass surrounded by 17th century church ruins. We were very... This is a beautiful hotel set in a ruined church in the amazing colonial town of Antigua. The rooms are all individual and we found them very comfortable. There is a small swimmong pool and we spent many hours just relaxing at the tables around the pool. Breakfast is good with ample fruit, excellent coffee and some bread with butter... More

This beautiful small boutique hotel are built around the ruins of an old church, with a small pool and excotic garden. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is excellent, so is the food! We booked 3 nights, but endend up staying 2 more.

For several of my recent visits to Antigua I've stayed with Hotel Cirilo and continue to highly recommend this beautiful property with exceptional staff. It's just three blocks walking through a beautiful neighborhood to the bustle of Antigua, and the peace and silence gained n those three blocks is such a reward. Wake up to the sounds of birds and...
