I usually stay here when I'm in Antigua. It's a nice place, very clean, lovely view from the street, and safe. Of course, it helps that it's quite close to the place I work. But really, the staff is nice, the rooms are clean, and the showers have hot water. It's located a short distance from the Central Park, which... More

I have stayed here a number of times when in Antigua. There are two locations-- #1 is at 15 3rd Avenida Sur and #2 is at 29 Ave Norte. I have stayed at #2 twice and find it excellent and a bargain. There is no meal service, but the maid offered to wash my clothes for me and it cost... More

The good: very secure, beautiful space, spacious rooms, towels changed daily, quite The not-so-good: can't regulate shower, the wireless is more down than up The bad: water is not pure but water purified from tap; bed linens not changed very few days; guards unresponsive at night due to watching TV or sleeping so you have to wait to get in... This was our first stop on a Central American trip. Arrived here pretty late at night after a long flight from Sydney. Was glad to see a bed. The place itself is very clean and the rooms are very basic. Which is fine. Our only issue was people dragging furniture around at 2am but it's all good. Everything is close... More

For the price (see my photo) one gets a very nice lodgings in the heart of the city. The hotel is pretty basic but clean and well kept. No breakfast is offered on hotel premises but just next block there's a great coffee bar serving excellent a la carte breakfasts in the morning (great selection of coffees and cakes rest... More

This hotel was an excellent value for the money in November of 2013. Very clean, excellent service at the front desk and right in the hub of town. I read another review about someone getting mugged outside the front of the hotel, but my sister and I stayed there alone without feeling at all unsafe at anytime. We also returned... More

The 3ra av. Sur location is such a great choice. It is not far away from the night and day action, and the hotel is really clean and comfortable. It feels like if it was a big house owned by a friend who just let you use it. The bathroom was O.K. the toiletries weren´t of very good quality. Wi-Fi... More

My girlfriend and I were mugged and attacked outside this hotel last week (7a Av location). We were coming home from dinner at 10pm and were waiting outside after pressing the buzzer for them to let us in. The hotel took ages to open the door and while we were waiting, a man came up behind my friend, ripped her... More

We stayed at the 7a Ave Norte location. While nondescript on the outside, the building has two lovely inner courtyards. It has been well restored with lots nice decorative touches. While breakfast was not provided, there is a kitchen and dining area, and we were able to use the refrigerator to store a box breakfast/lunch prior to a 4:00AM departure... More

I have stayed there with my family many times. It's one of my favorite hotels. The price and what you get for that price is pretty good. The fact that you can cook also saves a lot of money, specially for breakfasts. I would highly recommend it for a budget minded traveler.
