We stayed here with lots of our friends for our wedding on Nantucket. The hotel was gorgeous, the staff wonderful and they even let us use the front garden for a BBQ. The breakfast is great, the decor superb and they couldn't be more helpful. We will definitely go back. We loved it here. It's amazing. more

The Veranda House was the best B & B we have ever stayed at and we travel often. Where do I start? The facility has a typical Nantucket feel but the rooms are fairly modern with plush beds, flat screen TVs, a comfortable couch, robes, and so much more. In searching for accommodations, we avoided the "grandma's attic" vibe that most inns seem to have on Nantucket and The Veranda House certainly fit the bill. This is a lovely hotel. I understand it was refurbished a couple of years ago after a fire. It has lovely rooms (we were in room 20 - quite large), and has nice touches like afternoon tea/coffee and cookies on the verandah. The breakfast is very good too - waiter service.
