5 day stay in a perfect location. Conscientious, unobtrusive innkeepers. Beautiful, comfortable, well appointed room, and a nice common sitting area. Beach towels available. We wished there was an option to keep towels rather than get daily new ones. Otherwise, a first rate place.

Between my spouse, her mother, and myself, we stayed in 2 rooms. Spouse and mother stayed in the main house, while I stayed in their cubbyhole. The cubbyhole was fantastic, though admittedly tight. With kitchen area and small sitting area, it was the gathering point for the 3 of us. We could eat in, carry in, or cook as we... More

Sweet little room with a small private balcony in the back. Loved the location right in the heart of downtown. Stayed 2 nights in May before the crowds and it was perfect. Opted for the detached, private bathroom - which was fine even though it was across the sitting room from our 2nd floor room. But it was clean, which... More

I stayed here from May 5th to the 8th. This house was built in 1856 which seems young to its surrounding buildings. Although used to the larger rooms of Hilton and Marriott where I commonly stay at, this was a very nice and relaxing change up which complimented downtown Nantucket itself! The house is very well maintained and staff warm... More

We have summered on ACK for years. We returned for an August wedding and had the best experience so we extended our stay. ALL SUPERLATIVES. CLEAN - WONDERFUL INN KEEPERS, so pleasant and helpful. We look forward to returning this season and often.

We visit Nantucket every year and we have stayed at a different BnB every time. We stayed at the Hawthorn House because it was rated one of the top 5 on the island. Not for us. Where to begin? First it isn't really a BnB. A $5 coupon to be redeemed at a coffee shop is not breakfast. The house... More

We spent three nights at the Hawthorn House in May. It was the perfect place for us to stay. Comfortable and clean rooms, helpful staff, great rates and an awesome location. There isn't a restaurant but they provided a voucher for breakfast at an in-town cafe. One day we picked up some snacks and Cisco Brewery beers from the market... More

Kind of a last minute trip to Nantucket in June necessitate us finding a room that was below $300 for the night. Hawthorn House fit that bill ($125), but we were worried why it was so inexpensive at that time of year. Well located down the street from the Whaling Museum, and a short walk to downtown. The owner was... More

We recently stayed at the Hawthorn House for our anniversary trip. We couldn't have asked for much more. You can't beat the price or location. Wasn't fancy but was very nice. The breakfast voucher were a plus. Perfect for us.

With very nice owners. Compared with other properties on the Island, this is a very fair deal. We kept our boat at the Boat Basin so it was a nice alternative to staying on the boat, especially when the weather wasn't that great
