This is our third visit to the Inn. We usually stay for one night while waiting to get into our vacation rental home. The staff is very friendly. The cottage that we stayed in looked much bigger in the pictures but was OK for 4 of us for one night. "Mom's" breakfast buffet is plentiful and the children enjoy sitting... More

Thanks susan! We are always glad we can assist those of you in "one-night ferry limbo". We've recently had a few comments about the outdoor pool area and we are already formulating some plans for a refesh by 2012. Thanks for your review. More

Six couples arranged a two night getaway to the Island, and the Nantucket Inn was jut perfect in every way. The van driver was waiting for us at the ferry, rooms were ready upon our early arrival, and the GM himself greeted us in the lobby. Guestrooms were nicely appointed with all the amenities one needs.....Cathedral ceilings on 2nd floor... More

We stayed at the inn for 3 nights and found the service excellent. My boyfriend travels extensively for work and mentioned that the service was as good as the 4stars hotel he stays at. The breakfast had a lot of options, was hearty and plentiful. The shuttle service was extremely convenient. Everyone working at the Inn was cheerful, in good... More

We had a few issues that the hotel needs to better address. One, the room we had was very musty, and the next morning when we moved a crib, we saw that the carpet was sopping wet, and the TV stand was warping from the water leak (which clearly had been leaking for a long time). We told the front... More

Thanks for the feedback 1229 - it is important for us to know where we are exceeding and where we need work. The leak you refer to was not as major as it may have seemed and we were able to resolve it quickly with help from both our housekeeping and maintanence teams. Regarding your lost toiletry bag, we do... More

This was my 1st trip to Nantucket because didn't want to take the 1.5 hr ferry ride each way from Hyannis. It was well worth the trip even if only for a day. Nantucket is a charming island! This hotel is at the airport and far rom central Nantucket and the harbor. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.... More

Recently stayed at the Inn. Weren't sure about quality as we entered parking lot but we were soon surprised. Staff was terrific and friendly. Rooms, lobby, washrooms, etc were clean. Rooms were fairly simple but nice. Lifeguards watched over pool. Shuttle to downtown and beach was handy and efficient. Breakfast was great and buffet with lots of options. More

My wife and I were looking for a quick, fun getaway from the routine for a night and after evaluating some options choose Nantucket. We stayed at the Nantucket Inn and would definitely go back. Here's why: 1. Right across from the airport, so a 2 minute walk out the front door. No cab. And it was quiet. 2. Great... More

Thank you so much for the kind words - we only wish you could have stayed longer! Maybe next year! (Yes, we agree the outdoor pool needs a "refresh" and just to clarify, we are the only public "indoor" pool on the island) More

The Inn is quiet and has friendly staff. The room was a bit musty and swampy (due to weather?). We had little ants in the bathroom. Beds were hard, so please be aware. The buffet breakfast was nice but cost about $12 pp. You would be better off going out for breakfast if you are not that hungry. The pool... More

To be fair, it can be difficult to control the humidity with our hotel design - guest room doors open directly outside into the courtyard and garden. But it has always been our experience that once the air conditioning is able to do its job, the rooms are quite comfortable. Regarding breakfast, unless 2sisters were on a special promotional or... Our stay was fantastic! From the front desk staff to the dining room staff, the van drivers to the housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient. Being away from the center of town and the hustle and bustle of Main Street lends the inn a calm, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere. The beautifully landscaped grounds with their quaint courtyards were... More
