My husband and I stayed at Cliff Lodge for a much needed retreat. The property is conveniently located for anyone taking a ferry to the island. You can walk from Main Street in about 10 minutes. You can also walk to Jetties Beach in about 15 minutes. The property is well-kept and clean. The grounds are dotted with beautiful flowering... more

We stayed at Cliff's Lodge in early August. Here is a breakdown of our experience: Pros: * The innkeeper was friendly. * Breakfast, which mainly consisted of scones, cereal and coffee was OK. * General use rooms are well maintained. Cons: * Our room was incredibly small. I'm 5'7 and could literally reach my arms from one end of the... more

We LOVED The Cliff Lodge. We stayed for 6 days - The owner, Sally, made us feel like we were staying at a friends house! She baked awesome home made granola, scones and muffins each day for breakfast. In the afternoon we looked forward to her delicious baked cookies and lemon bars. We walked to dinner, wharfs and shopping. There... more

My husband booked the Cliff Lodge for our 20th anniversary getaway. We arrived on our first day and were warmly greeted by the Innkeeper, Sally to get us "settled in". Our room was small. I would book a slightly bigger one next time, but it was very comfortable and clean complete with the fluffiest designer towels and bathrobes I have... more

Outstanding Stay ! This was our 5th time on Nantucket and our 4th at Cliff Lodge. The innkeeper, Sally makes you feel like family. The rooms are all in very nice condition and all have their own baths. None of the rooms have phones but cell service is good at the inn and most of the island. For us, the... more

What a charming place!! We have stayed at 10 different B&B's on Nantucket over the past 12 years and this by far was the best! Sally is a breath of fresh air and a wealth of information. The breakfast was exquisite and the rooms are warm and welcoming. EVERYTHING was perfect. Everything you would want in a "home away from... more

This was my second trip to the Cliff House, and I can't wait for the next time. What better way to spend a relaxing, romantic weekend, than curled up on the couch in a room from the pages of Elegant Homes, by a roaring fire, and eating homemade chocolate walnut cookies. When ready to venture out, Sally has fantastic recommendations... more

3rd time staying at Cliff Lodge. Extremely friendly, bend-over-backwards innkeep who makes you feel at home. Great place for winter sit-by-the-fire romantic escape. Quick walk to town and staff is extremely engaging but not invasive if you're looking for peace and quiet. more

Sally, the innkeeper, is the most gracious and friendly hostess you could want running a bed and breakfast. Her open and relaxed personality invited guests to mingle. She knew I was traveling on my own and asked me to join her and others for a cook-out at the Lodge. Not only did I have a wonderful time, but the other... more

It's like staying at grandma's. Very sweet owner. Baked cookies/treats each afternoon. Room was clean. Beautiful artwork/antiques. Cozy. Room was very very small. Bathroom had a slider. With some refurbishing could be lovely. A hidden attic door led to a stellar view from the widows walk/tight space but worth the trek up. A little outside of town. Very quiet. Didn't... more
