Cliff lodge was a great place to stay for a weekend in Nantucket. Walking distance to town. Beautiful views from roof walk. And great breakfast. Apartment on first floor was lovely and comfortable with private deck. Nice public spaces. Beautifully restored historic captain's house.

So a few years ago, my husband and I stayed here on the 2nd floor, renting a queen sized bed. That room was great. Positives: the innkeeper was nice, the free breakfast was nice and fresh (fresh fruits, yogurt, scones, toast, cereal, juice and coffee). The inn has a large widow's walk with wooden lawn chairs to stargaze. The living... More

My wife and I traveled to Nantucket and stayed one night at this affordable bed and breakfast. We arrived on an early ferry and just expect to drop our bags off. When we arrived to the Cliff Lodge we found that our room was already ready and were able to check in early. The inn keeper gave us a tour... More

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time! We arrived around 2pm and Trich the Innkeeper gave us a tour. Our rooms were ready early so we were able to settle in upon arrival. My wife and I were traveling with our two girls (8 and 12) so we got the apartment unit on the first floor in... More

We recently spent a weekend at Cliff Lodge, Nantucket. Trish, the inn-keeper, was so friendly and pleasant. She made us very comfortable. Gave us any information needed about the Island and the Inn. We were in room 5 which is the suite with a porch. It was wonderful! Take a walk up to the widows walk it is a beautiful... More

My wife and I stayed at the Cliff Lodge just after Christmas 2014, on our first visit to Nantucket. We were lucky enough to be the only guests at the Inn, so our experience is a little different than that of most visitors. The Inn was comfortable and cozy, and all the more so because we had the place to... More

This a fabulous old house converted into a more even fabulous B&B. The location couldn't be better. It is on a beautiful old quiet street and it is just a couple of blocks to the whaling museum (a must see) and the quaint downtown area with all of the nice restaurants and interesting shops. We stayed in the downstairs "apartment"... More

Just returned from a wonderful weekend! Trich was wonderful, as was the inn. I didn't notice any of the things mentioned in some of the other reviews. Maybe as a New Englander I knew what to expect - this is a historic site, not a chain hotel- my room was clean, comfortable, and very cute. It was off season but... More

We stayed three nights in room 5. It's a larger room with a shower/tub and a sun porch. Everything was very clean though the sun room window sills needed to be wiped down. Trish is charming and engaged with all the guests and does her utmost to assist guests with requests. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Guests are welcome to... More

My boyfriend and I started a tradition a few years back of coming to nantucket for vacation every summer. We try not to spend a crazy amount on lodging because we aren't usually in the room very much. I'm rating this one on the lower end of things because there is simply no reason for a lot of the issues.... More
