We stayed at the Century House so nicely run by Gerry & JeanE for only 2 nights but it was one of the best place we've ever stayed at in terms of hospitality and how it really made us feel at home. The breakfast served in the morning had great variety and let us not forget the freshly baked chocolate... More

This is a beautiful B and B where travelers are encouraged to mingle. I was charmed by the authenticity of the home. Yes the stairs were a bit on the steep side, but this only added to the feel of the past as only these are found in original antique homes on the island. The home is filled with books... More

My wife and I stayed at the Century House for the second straight year. Our experience was absolutely delightful. I just noticed Robin B's complaints. My 89 year old father could manage the stairs and carry his own bags. The owners are kind and will engage you as much or as little as you desire. Yes, some bathrooms are not... More

Bad check in. Everyone has to wait and try to find a phone to call. Three days there and everyone felt same. Frustrated. No one help with bags with. With steep stairs. Every light bulb out in room. Literally had to go and unscrew one from main room to see. Bathroom unattached and rooms tiny. Owner is pompous and more... More

We had a lovely time at the Century House. This BnB is within walking distance from the Steamship Authority Ferry. Checking in was easy. Our room was ready, so they checked us in early, allowing us to get settled quickly to start exploring the island. The outside sitting area is beautiful and charming with drinks available as you relax on... More

Nantucket is a wonderful island and the Century House is located to close to town and some great restaurants. The place has a wonderful veranda to eat breakfast, share some wine and meet people. The inside the inn is quite cluttered for my taste but any find it charming. Fresh water, lemons and limes are available at all times. The... More

My family of 6 stayed at the inn for 5 nights in July. Jeane was so warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. Having the continental-type breakfast outside each morning was delightful, and the warm cookies all day were a huge hit with our kids (who are mainly teenagers). The location is ideal - halfway in between the town... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Century House and were not disappointed as the location is superb allowing you to walk to all the wonderful shops and restaurants and the harbor. The bed was truly heavenly and the porch and patio were an absolute oasis. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was terrific. Need I say... More

Once again my yearly visit to the Century House on magical Nantucket was divine. After a day of painting out doors it was a pleasure to retire to my charming, comfortable, immaculate, quiet room. Waking to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the morning and a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and crunchy granola while chatting with new friends... More

We had a lovely stay at Century House. You immediately feel at home when you arrive and the accommodations are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is most enjoyable because besides good food, you get the opportunity to chat with other guests and Jean, the innkeeper. One afternoon, we came home to the wonderful aroma of fresh chocolate chip cookies right out... More
