Staff were very kind and value was great. Proximity to bus stop and to town could not have been better. Our room was much larger than originally expected and the afternoon cookies were a nice touch. My favorite thing was the beach chairs that we were able to borrow while staying at the lantern.

The Brass Lantern has been our go to place to stay on Nantucket for years. The staff is so kind and make us feel like we are in our own home. The attention to detail is wonderful. The tea and coffee is available all day. The daily fresh baked cookies are wonderful. The garden is lovely to read the daily... More

Only a few blocks from ferry, excellent location. Block away from Whaling museum, restaurants, shops, strolling the town. Great service. Loved their beach chairs you can use, backpack style with zipped area for beach essentials! AC units each room. The smell of cookies throughout the inn late afternoons was great. Not to mention how great they tasted. Bathroom a lil... More

The Inn notified us that the Boston Pops was performing the day we arrived, so we able to go to that fabulous event! Scott, the manager, had answers and suggestions for everything. It was our first trip to Nantucket. They supplied great beach chairs and beach towels. We ate every breakfast in the Inn's beautiful garden. We had the Elizabeth... More

Very happy to hear that you were able to Make it to Boston Pops! It is a great event, and not too far of a walk from the Brass Lantern which is good because of the traffic. I do try and point guests in the right direction when suggesting beaches, restaurants, etc.. I am happy that you enjoyed my recommendations.... More

Nantucket is full of great places to stay, but few allow you to soak of the sense of place that pervades the island like the Brass Lantern. The location (downtown, but slightly away from the noise), staff (very friendly, but not invasive), food (delicious muffins) and rooms (well appointed, large enough, rustic but sufficiently modern) all come together perfectly to... My husband and I have stayed at the Brass Lantern Inn several times both as a couple and with our son. We have had great experiences every time. The inn is steps from everything downtown and yet is big enough to have a variety of rooms to suit every need. The staff is very friendly and their dining area is... More

I write a glowing review each year after I return from 'The Brass Lantern' because for a constant traveler like myself (work/pleasure) and for my partner (pleasure) it is this wonderful Inn that gives us that sense of 'well-being and happiness' that one only finds a few times in life when traveling. Luckily for us, our favorite spot, The Brass... More

Brass Lantern Inn offers a laid back vibe, friendly helpful service and a great location and a parking lot. Breakfasts are light and there is a patio where you can enjoy it. Rooms are cozy. We shall return! Love the beach chairs!
