I stayed one night at this inn and it was perfect. The room was very comfortable. The staff was very welcoming. Perfect breakfast with yougurt, fruit and homemade muffins. The chocolate chip cookies home baked in the afternoon for a snack were fabulous! Great value for a lovely stay on Nantucket!

My husband and I just returned from a four day (too short) visit- our third year in a row- with previous visits in past years. We have always enjoyed the location, the low-key vibe and consistent care and attention given by both generations of owners, but this last visit left us in awe of just how much attention Phil, Suzi,... I spent a lot of time researching for the best place to stay on the island. The Barnacle Inn did not disappoint me. The conversation with Suzie on the phone to make my reservations was personable. She was able to accommodate my two children plus my husband into the perfect three rooms. The rooms were spotless. The decorations so islandy... More

Last October.I attended a wedding on Nantucket and stayed at the Barnacle Inn with several other guests. Memories of morning breakfasts on the deck, spotless accommodations, smiles and the friendship of the owners have lasted with me all winter. This is now my new East Coast home. Thank you to Suzie for taking care of all the details and making... More

Comfortable in so many ways! Sue was very lovely and accommodating from my first interaction with her on the phone, and throughout my stay. I loved the setting, fresh flowers in the room, quilt on my bed, beautiful front garden, and within walking distance from town! The breakfast was wonderful and served so nicely! The whole experience with the Barnacle... More

Just returned from our Nantucket get-a-way and wanted to review the Barnacle Inn right away! We have been to the island many times, and it is a very special place to vacation. This time we decided to try a new Inn to stay and we're very delighted with this choice! It is an enchanting Inn with the feel of a... More

I have stayed at several B&B's on Nantucket over the years but my latest stay at the Barnacle Inn on Fair Street was exceptional. The check-in process was so easy and our hostess Sue couldn't have been nicer during our entire stay. The breakfast was absolutely to die for and being presented with a newspaper every morning was a real... More

We stayed for two nights in May. Denise welcomed us before we even got the front door and was so helpful throughout our stay. We loved the charming, airy room and the wonderful warm blueberry muffins for breakfast. It's in a great location and very reasonable for Nantucket.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Nantucket, and after trying our a few other places, the Barnacle Inn is our official favorite place to stay. Unlike most B+B's, this one is set back from the road for a little extra privacy, with a charming front garden where one can enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee. The location... More

We stayed at The Barnacle for a long weekend in August, and it was everything we were hoping for .... and more! The location is ideal, just around the corner from downtown and a few blocks from the waterfront on a quiet, historic street. The house itself is charming ... casual ... with a large common area downstairs and wide... More
