We stayed at The Barnacle for a long weekend in August, and it was everything we were hoping for .... and more! The location is ideal, just around the corner from downtown and a few blocks from the waterfront on a quiet, historic street. The house itself is charming ... casual ... with a large common area downstairs and wide... More

My husband and I traveled to Nantucket on a whim and were very doubtful we would find an available B&B such last minute. Luckily, a room had just opened up here and based on the good reviews, I was really excited about the place. Suzi was incredibly helpful on the phone and even offered to schedule our ferry arrangements for... More

A charming b&b right off the main drag on a street lined with beautiful houses, b&b's and a pretty church across the street. Susie, one of the owners, was incredibly welcoming and offered lots of great tips on where to go, what to see, and where to eat. She also had plenty of maps and guide books for the taking.... More

A charming, unpretentious family-run inn located a few hundred feet off of Nantucket's cobblestoned Main Street. It is not fancy, but neither are the prices, on this very pricey island! Rooms vary in size and cost, and the staff are very accommodating. Run by a delightful couple, Phil And Susie, who are always nearby and serve a delicious homemade breakfast... More

Fabulous vacation close to everything but not loud. Operated by a great couple who aim to please. Breakfasts are a nice plus and eating outside is wonderful. Towels, beach chairs and umbrellas provided which is a plus. Feels like your grandmother's a bit so don't expect luxury but more than comfortable. A great deal in a town with few bargains.... More

The Barnacle Inn is a fantastic place to stay while you visit Nantucket, especially if you're visit is less than 1 week (as during peak season you generally can't rent a house for less than 1 week). I just returned from celebrating my bachelorette party there (with 6 others) and the owners, Stacey and Phil, were amazing! They were extremely... More

We have stayed in more expensive, more well-appointed hotels and inns, and rented a few homes for longer stays throughout the years, but the Barnacle was the best yet. It's location to town and the wharf is a ten. Fresh pastries for breakfast and hot cookies or brownies for afternoon tea were great, the rooms were spacious and clean, and... More

What a great place to stay! Its a very short walk to Main Street with great restaurants nearby. The owner Phil and Susie were so nice and spolied me while I was there! The breakfast presentation (and taste) was so good I had to take a pic and post to my FB for friends! They really made my trip enjoyable... More

I spent a few nights at The Barnacle Inn recently and had an amazing stay. Suzie and her family (the owners) were so welcoming and were always on hand to answer any questions we had. Our room was full of character and complete with a super comfy bed. A nice bonus were the freshly baked cookies/brownies that were left for... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Barnacle Inn in Nantucket. As soon as you enter the walkway heading to the front door, take in the beautiful landscaped grounds and various seating areas, you feel right at home. I had such a great time in Nantucket and I have to say a big part of it was due... More
