We spent a pleasant evening at the Inn on the second floor. The staff was helpful, pleasant, with suggestions when asked. The location is on a very nice street just a short distance from many shops. We awakened to little birds chirping outside our window, and had good breakfast on their patio.

I found the Pineapple Inn after literally calling the top 10 rated B&B's on tripadvisor to find them all fully booked for our last minute trip. The rate was reasonable at $295 night and I knew the location was close to everything in town. We arrived early and dropped our bags in the lobby so we could go tot the... More

We stayed here for five nights. The good things about this inn include: (1) the location is excellent if you wish to explore Nantucket town in the evening, as you can stumble back from anywhere in town; (2) the staff are friendly and helpful; (3) you have a "jitney" to, and beach and pool privileges at, the Summer House in... I was a bit concerned about our stay, based on the previous reviews; however, I was pleasantly surprised! We made somewhat last minute reservations during a very busy time and the Pineapple had a room, so we booked it. I'm very familiar with Nantucket, so I knew that this was a nice location ahead of time and it really is... More

We took a spontaneous trip to Nantucket this past week and stayed at the Pineapple Inn. We booked last minute and booked to stay at the Summer House on India St. We arrived on the last ferry from Hyannis on Monday night and proceeded to the Summer House. As seems typical with many inns on Nantucket these days, there was... More

This was my first time at The Pineapple Inn and I stayed with a girl friend. It was December, so off season but Christmas Stroll weekend. The Inn is well kept, a bit lacy for my taste. The room (#8) was well appointed and average size. My one complaint was the transfer of noise. The Inn was not a very... More

There are many B&Bs in Nantucket. Very many. This one is mainstream in its location (central), features (room sizes, bathrooms), and amenities (continental breakfast). The backyard patio is quite nice. This is a casual and unpretentious setting. Everything in working order. Attentive staff. No innkeeper, per se, but that's customary.

Here are the pros for the Pineapple Inn: rooms very clean, nicely decorated, free shuttle to Summer House and use of pool, staff at Inn friendly. Cons: rooms at the inn went on sale on Jetsetter a day and a half after I booked for same weekend. I contacted mgt and though the Jetsetter offer was a nicer room for... More

We stayed at Pineapple Inn over the Labor day weekend. The most important points for me were: 1. Location - right in the center of the village but on a quiet street so that you don't hear people returning from bars; 2. Value - I booked it well in advance, like in the spring and at the time it appeared... More

After reading the reviews here, I wasn't expecting much. In fact, I was expecting somthing akin to Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs. We booked a last minute trip and there were very few hotels with availability. We chose the Pineapple Inn because it was a lot less expensive than other options in town. Our room #10 on the third...
