Perfect choice for overnight stay in city center. Room was small, however everything was clean, wifi & tv worked well. Continental breakfast - nothing extraordinary, but acceptable. We had no issues with noise from street/downstairs bars (went to sleep around 1am) and it was Football World Championship at that time! Good location directly in a pedestrian zone in the city... We have stayed here several times when visiting Skopje. It is in a wonderful location beside the river overlooking the amazing new buildings, monuments and of course the old Turkish fort on the hill. The street outside is pedestrianised and has many restaurants and bars with seating overlooking the river. Parking is available just down the street. You can sit in... More

The room was a good fit for me. Basic but everything I needed. Breakfast was nice and a perfect location, Assan remembered my name and had time for a chat. Either talking in general or recommending places to see. Great service

We had a warm welcome by the staff of the hotel- hot or cold drinks to start with. Then, the guy ( I don't remember the name but he was wearing a blue shirt- for sure:))- showed us the map and the most important thing to see in Skopje. We had a tour around the rooms as well. Breakfast is... More

My local counterpart booked me this apartment. As others commented below, it is located in the middle of the center and next to the shopping mall. The choice and quality of the breakfast is great which is served at the Pizza Anja Restaurant. I also loved the tea which comes with a big piece of lemon and honey. If you... More

We arrived without reservation because we had a small detour coming from Kosovo, and Daniel--supervisor/manager--was kind enough to give us an apartment in the center during our one night stay. At first the location and the outside infrastructure of the apartments may look old and dull, but once you step in and they open the door of the apartment, the... More

I had an amazing weekend in Hotel Anja. The apartments were clean and eye-catching and the food was great as well. But one thing you will always remember is the hospitality of the manager Deniz. He will make you feel at home!

I stayed here for a couple of nights, and ended up with the location that was a 2 minute walk from the main Pizza Anja (which is where you must check in). I was greeted with a welcome beer, which was great, and by the hotel manager and another friendly staff member. I was honestly blown away with the personal... More

We stayed at an appartment (app.2, the double room on Tito Street) right on the Macedonia main square. The location is absolutely great, the room was basic but good, clean, with air conditioning and cable tv. The wifi also works perfectly. Breakfast was also good (eggs, bacon, bread, coffee, juice, etc). However, we booked a double bed but got twin... More

Look lets cut to the chase. What do you really want from any hotel? Cleanliness, value and safety. Hotel Anja ticks all three boxes so go for it. It is literally smack bang in the centre, on the river front where all the bars are, 100m from Macedonia Square, 5 mins from the Turkish Bazaar, Kale Fortress, Mother Teresa House... More
