Fairly comfortable lodging and good for an overnight stay in Amherst. Within short driving distance of eateries and attractions. Friendly inn owner and delicious traditional breakfast items. Amherst Advice Parking in downtown/main area can be difficult--expect to circle around quite a bit for parking Emily Dickinson Homestead/Evergreens--worth the visit/tour. more

Just got back from a weekend in Amherst at the Black Walnut Inn. I loved it! The room was charming, the breakfast was incredible, and the owners were lovely. They were waiting for me in the kitchen every morning at 7:00 am......very accommodating to my early schedule. I came home with some delicious, home made marmalade! more
