the house is furnished in a tasteful period style. I enjoyed the other travelers at breakfast, and there was a relaxed library/entertainment room and wireless access. cookies and tea were available in the dining room (and little candy dishes scattered around :). it's across the road from Emily Dickinson's house with nice local walking... and (my personal destination) the english... more

I came to Amherst to visit the Emily Dickinson House. Staying across the street from her home was delightful and our room had a birdseye view.
