My room ( 207) was a bit tired but immaculately clean. The light was perfect, being a corner it had 2 windows. You didnt hear a thing outside. The shower pressure was wonderful. It had all you'd want in a retreat - bathroom amenities, plush towels, free wifi that worked, gas fire, TV, cozy chair, comfortable queen bed with duvet.... More

The Lord Jeffery Inn provided our family and friends with the perfect venue to celebrate our daughters wedding. This was our third of four children to marry and we could not have been happier. Amanda Long, Jeff Renaud and all the staff were exceptional. The Lord Jeffery is a stunning location, with well- appointed accommodations, and beautiful on-site photographic opportunities.... More

The location is great; near UMass and Amherst College and everything downtown is in walking distance. Lots of restaurant choices nearby if you don't want to eat at the Inn (which is rather pricey). We had a King corner room with a fireplace(gas). Decor was traditional New England colonial in blue and white. The tiled bathroom had a large glass... More

The Inn is absolutely charming -- friendly staff and lovely accommodations. The restaurant on the premises 30 Boltwood services delicious food. And you can't beat the location. I love the Lord Jeffery Inn!

I really want to love the Lord Jeffrey Inn. Have stayed there a few times, and eaten there often. This last stay was disappointing enough that I thought I'd write. This is an old, elegant inn with lovely bones. The building itself and its layout are very handsome. The furnishings are lovely. The problem with the inn is a. the... More

Dear Liz L., I would like to start by thanking for you for your patronage over the last couple of years. I was very sorry to read that your last stay with us had not lived up to your previous experiences. While I fully accept the fact that this is probably too little too late, I would like to offer... The Lord Jeffrey Inn is a quaint hotel located in downtown Amherst. It has a lovely sitting room with a cozy fireplace for those cold winter Amherst days. I stayed in the third floor in a quiet corner room. Occasionally you can hear the neighbors. The room was sufficiently large for 1 or 2 adults with a large closet, large... More

We reserved a King Suite for the last night of our honeymoon and were disappointed with the experience overall, especially considering the price point. The website makes this look like a quaint, upscale Inn. We thought the furnishings and linens in the room were bland and cheap looking, except the bathroom which was nice. Floors were filthy, both in the... More

My daughter was interviewing for graduate school and I decided to get to explore the town of Amherst. The Inn was a gem and a very reasonable cost for a King suite. Breakfast was also reasonably priced and excellent. I travel often for business & pleasure and I place the Lord Jeffery high on my list.

We were impressed by the welcoming lobby and helpful staff. Our room was very pleasant, warm and cosy, fine for three of us staying for one night on college tour. Perfectly located for tour of local colleges. A nice treat but still good value for money. I would definitely recommend to others.
