Overview: Nice hotel, looked a bit shabby from outside, but inside kept clean, can tell older hotel but well kept, nice breakfast in the morning, easy check in. Average physical condition - rooms are kept "neat" needs updating - much better places 10 miles up the road in Portsmouth. Breakfast is edible but nothing more than that - some of the staff is helpful but more are not.

I agree there are no real food options within walking distance (unless friendlys or burger king is an option for you), but Newburyport and Amesbury are only a short drive and have many great options.
