We stayed at the Gov. Calvert Inn on Christmas night and it was just lovely! The staff was professional yet very helpful and friendly, the Inn was beautifully decorated and our room was gorgeous. Could not have had a nicer stay!

The Historic Maryland Inn is our home away from home, when we are in Annapolis. We've stayed here several times, and love it. We had a large corner room on the 4th floor overlooking the harbor on one side, and the State House on the other side. The location is perfect for walking around the Historic District and down to... Okay, its unusual to stay in a property built in 1776 but it is what it'd is. Sorry but even though it was clean I swear it was the paint holding everything together. Their 24-hour valet service isn't as the default is the security folks. Not convenient nor timely. And the property restaurant is only open 2 nights a week.... More

We stayed at the Gov Calvert Inn this past Friday night. Upon arrival the valet greeted us and we had a very smooth checkin process. We booked a historic Queen and were happy with our room. The layout was a little odd but we liked it and there was a hint of a musty smell to the room but this... More

I was SO glad that I booked at the Maryland Inn. It has a perfect location, great historical value, and a great value. The room was quite large, very comfortable, and just a stone's throw away from the main square of Annapolis. The check-in and check out were very fast and the staff were nothing but friendly and helpful. I... More

My husband and I have always wanted to stay here because of it's charm and history. We got a room for my birthday and were upgraded to a suite!! We were not disappointed!! The room was beautiful with kitchen bedroom and separate living room all done with a 1700's look. We absolutely loved it and will be back.

Stayed at the Governor Calvert House for two nights this past week, during our second visit to Annapolis. We had stayed here on an earlier visit two years ago and enjoyed it so much, that we decided to try it again. We found the room to be just as clean and quiet as we remembered it, and the service has... More

As a 30 yr Annapolitan, I love coming back to my city. I always stay with Historic Inns of Annapolis. I spent 2 nights this past week and as always the room was spotless, plenty of towels and very quiet. I have stayed at both the Maryland Inn and Gov Calvert. Both are always clean, with helpful staff and easy... More

We've been to most of the hotels in this area and were always curious about the Maryland Inn. It's a little different that check in is at another building and valet brings you over to the Maryland and drops you off. I thought this was going to be a hassle but honestly it wasn't a big deal. Everyone was very... More

In Annapolis for a wedding, we were pointed to this collection of restored properties as an option. We stayed 4 nights in the Governor Calvert House on State Circle across from the Maryland State House and took every advantage of its location to walk the historic area and Naval Academy. We enjoyed the proximity to good restaurants, both casual and... More
