My wife and I spent New Year's weekend here and it was a truly great experience. We would certainly not have had as wonderful a weekend in Annapolis as we did without staying at the Flag House Inn. It was really a crucial part of making our trip to Annapolis so great. Charlotte and Bill made us feel so welcome... More

My husband and I traveled to Annapolis for a brief work-related job at the Naval Academy. The Flag House Inn was ideally situated right across the street. Charlotte and Bill were very warm and welcoming and couldn't have been more gracious. While my husband was at the Naval Academy, I was able to go sightseeing. All of the area attractions... More

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Flag House Inn; we traveled to Annapolis for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The proprietors had a wealth of information on area attractions, restaurants and shops. They also perfectly balanced the right amount of interaction with guests while giving them enough privacy. Breakfast was out of this world, especially... More

Charlotte & Bill make you feel welcomed before you arrive, when you arrive and after you leave. They are located literally across the street from Gate 1 of USNA, with off-street parking and within easy walking of all downtown Annapolis. Breakfast, regardless of what is served is delicious and comes with stimulating conversation from other well-healed interesting travelers. We stayed... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Flag House Inn and found it to be a delightful Bed & Breakfast. Hosts Bill and Charlotte Schmickle were warm, very friendly, helpful without being intrusive, and a wealth of information about the area. As we were in Annapolis to attend USNA Foundation & Alumni Assoc. meetings and to see our midshipman... More

Our experience at Flag Inn was absolutely perfect! The breakfasts were terrific, the location quiet, but central to everything, the host and hostess were helpful and friendly, while still giving privacy to their guests. We will definitely return...we already have it planned. More

Here is an attractive, thoughtfully furnished, comfortable B&B right in the heart of Annapolis! We walked everywhere--with the exception of our return after dark from a restaraunt by way of a delightful Water Taxi! The owners are helpful and attentive to every need, well versed in the history of the area, and serve a delicious breakfast. More

Stayed over a weekend in September. It consists of two semi-detached houses that have been combined into one, located near the entrance to the Naval Academy, and just a couple of minutes walk to the waterfront in the middle of the town. Very nicely decorated and maintained.Great breakfast. I needed to get going before they normally serve on the weekends,... More
