The rooms at this hotel are not very well sound-proofed. You can hear everything on both sides of you as well as very loud slamming doors down the hall. I would not suggest this for people looking for a quiet stay in Annapolis. more

My wife chose the O'Callaghan Hotel in Annapolis, MD for a weekend stay for our third honeymoon. From reading the website and looking at the pictures, we both expected the hotel to be much nicer than it turned out to be. In fact, my wife booked the room in July for our October weekend and got an executive room at... more

The O'Callaghan is in a great location -- we went for the Navy football game, and it was an easy walk. Also within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops. However, we paid over $300/night, and the room was NOT up to expectations. The bathroom was dirty, the walls were nicked up and marked, we were not given a... more

Stayed overnight. Check in was quick, friendly & efficient. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and well-equipped. The cost of parking is reasonable compared with other places. The location is about 1 block away from Loew's Hotel where prices are almost triple, so the value at O'Callaghan's is good. It's about a 15 minute pleasant walk to the port & historic... more

We stayed at this hotel because it was suggested by the conference we were attending. We arrived at night and were concerned with the number of homeless individuals wandering around. We later found out there is a shelter for them close by. The employees at the hotel were extemely nice upon check-in and during our stay. The rooms are good... more

We had planned a car trip to Annapolis and chose O'Callaghan's because of the location, price and previous reviews. The location was excellent for walking to downtown Annapolis and the U.S. Naval Academy. The price was excellent. The hotel room was terrific -- a spacious, clean, well equipped room. We had brought our laptop along and enjoyed a solid, hi-speed... more

Found this hotel on TripAdvisor for a one night stay picking my son up from camp. The price was great, and I suggested the hotel to a friend who was bringing kids to camp. Location is very good, walking distance to all. They have a free shuttle and will drop you off and pick you up when you call for... more

First time visitors to Annapolis, and this town was recommended as a "one tank trip". We booked here as price was mid-range. Not sure what we would discover, but it was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly and for the money - it was well worth it. Bar area and breakfast was very nice. Complimentary shuttle was great, as... more
