This is not a fancy hotel. However, it is reasonably priced, and there are some nice features which make it a good alternative in Annapolis. The rooms are average sized, and reasonably clean. It is possible to get rooms with connecting doors (in case your family needs more than one room). The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are updated.... more

My wife and I enjoyed this location. The hotel was in good shape. Clean place, friendly staff with a nice hearty breakfast. We absolutly LOVED Annapolis. I would move there in a heartbeat. more

Everyone at Double Tree was wonderful. The shuttle service to the historic district was prompt and the night driver very friendly. We ate snacks and dinner at Ports of Call lounge, the food was great. Carlos, the bartender is the best. Always smiling and could remember our drink of choice. I must say, I wish there were more bartenders like... more

A beautiful hotel with many nice building features ... but very poorly managed. Clothes and food left in hall when I checked in at 5:45 PM. Understaffed check in and side store had no one to wait on customers. Old towels not removed and new ones needed for second day. One of the phones did not work. My room key... more

As a frequent business traveler, we all know that good staff can make the difference for frequent and long stays. When you find a hotel that has attracted the best of the best, it is a veritable find! Standouts include Carlos, the finest and friendliest bartender and Charles the restaurant manager. But it extends to the front desk down to... more

The hotel has a shuttle service that will take you anywhere in the historic district you might want to go. Pick-up is just a phone call away. Service was terrific and after seeing the crowds and the parking mess, we were very happy with our decision to make use of the service. Yes, Carlos was also wonderful, as has been... more

We went to the Ports of Call at the Doubletree and met the most charming and entertaining bartender -- Carlos! He is very fun yet very professional. Its worth the trip alone just to visit him. We love you Carlos! more

My husband and I live near Annapolis and there are plenty of choices, but we like the cozy, quiet atmosphere and the tasty appetizers and drinks. The service is attentive and personalized. When fresh mangos are available, try the crab stack - delicious. Carlos is the bartender on duty most of evenings and he's extremely accommodating. He finds out what... more

This hotel has continued to be a great value. Whenever I am in the area, I look to stay at this hotel. The location is good to get around to general Baltimore and DC area. The onsite restaurant (Ports of Call) never dissappoints. The bar staff (Carlos and others) are always freindly and offer great service. The restaurant provide very... more
