My wife and I stayed at Chez Amis for four days while visiting our Plebe son for the first time at the United States Naval Academy. This is a great bed & breakfast with a lot of personal touches that show concern for their customers. It is located in the historical area of Annapolis, the capital of Maryland, and the... More

My fiancee and I stayed in the Treaty of Paris room at Chez Ami and experienced wonderful hospitality and were very pleased with the B&B. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure that we were comfortable; delicious cookies and plenty of soft drinks were available at our convenience, and the breakfast was fantastic. The bed in the T.o.P room... More

My husband and I stay at B&Bs wherever we travel and Chez Amis is a gem. It's located on a charming and quiet residential street in the historic district of Annapolis. Its steps away from the harbor, Capital, and Naval Academy. The inn is delightful and decorated with great attention to detail. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The inn... More

Our Annapolis visit started when we called to make reservations because our internet was acting cranky. Joe answered the phone that evening, helped my wife set up our reservations, answered all our questions and made some suggestions for our stay. He was so personable and patient over the phone we knew we made a good choice. Elly and Maggie greeted... More

It's all the comforts of home with none of the work. We stayed in the Annapolis Room, where the private bath is across the hall. Not to worry, as during our three night stay we never ran into another guest in the hallway. Plus, the bath is worth the walk with the clawfoot tub, rainshower, beadboard and a patriotic flair.... My wife and I stayed in Annapolis for a weekend to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. This was our first B&B experience. I chose Chez Amis based mainly upon the other reviews on TripAdvisor. We couldn't have been happier. We stayed in the Annapolis room, which does not have its own on-suite bath. Instead, you have to walk down a very... More

What a wonderful place. Joe and Elly are like meeting family. They are very accommodating and friendly. The B&B is warm and cozy. Cookies available 24/7. The breakfast amazing. If you go to Annapolis MD, it is great place to stay. Dave & Suzanne Nesbitt (Michigan)

We were heading to Annapolis from Charleston, our 8 hour drive became 12 hours. We arrived after 8 pm to check in. I had called to give Elly an update as to our status in traffic, and our late arrival time. She was very understanding and sincerely kind, and her husband Joe was there to check us in, and recommend... More

My husband and I stayed at Chez Amis to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He had never stayed at a Bed and breakfast before. After 2 days with Elly, the innkeeper, I knew he was a convert. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting and Elly's infectious love for her town was fantastic. The B&B is in a great location, so... More

This place was spotless, and beautifully appointed. Not the typical lace covered B&B. Beautiful antique furniture, crisp white linens, room filled with natural light and hardwood floors. Breakfast was delicious, too. And the innkeeper was so super sweet. I have pretty high standards for hotels and B&B's. This one definitely hit the mark and is one of the best I've... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
