My boyfriend and I just spent a lovely getaway at the Charles Inn for our anniversary and it was spectacular. All too often I find that a b&b doesn't truly live up to the pictures and is a bit worn down, but that was not at all the case here. We stayed in the Holly room, which was gorgeous! The... More

Had the opportunity to stay at The Charles Inn recently on their first weekend of being reopened. Such a charming Inn and terrific Innkeeper. Delicious Breakfast and the beautiful gardens are coming into bloom. Springtime in Annapolis was lovely and the stay at Charles Inn made it a superb weekend!

I surprised my wife with a weekend trip to Annapolis for our anniversary. I decided to book a room at the Charles Inn after looking at several of the different B&B's in the area. We could not have been more pleased. The location, only a short walk from all of the shops and restaurants in the historic area of Annapolis.... More

I decided to surpise my husband for our anniversary and booked a room for the night at this charming Inn. It was an amazing experience! We stayed in the beautifully decorated Holly room - very romantic setting! Luxurious bedding-a delight ! The jacuzzi felt wonderful and the big fluffy towels were a pleasure. Breakfast was an indulgence ! We had... More

We decided at the very last minute to grab some time away. Lucky for us they had a cancellation. We stayed in the Holly Room. Just beautiful! Very romantic. Breakfast was fantastic. The best French toast I've ever had. Coffee great too. Only thing I would suggest would be a "how to operate" guide for cooling/heating system. Ha! Hope to... More

My wife and I stayed at the Charle's Inn to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. It was my first trip to Annapolis and we loved it! The Charle's Inn is about a 5-8 minute walk from the old town area of Annapolis or you can take the wter taxi that picks up at the dock next to the inn. VERY... More

We went to "get away" and were swept away by the warm greeting of our gracious hosts, Paula and John, the peaceful garden and path to the water, the quiet, the exotic feather bed, the tasteful, historic decorating, water taxi from our door to the restaurant, and the delicious breakfast. It was our best B&B stay ever and we look... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the Charles Inn this past weekend and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The innkeepers, John and Paula, were so kind and hospitable and helped make our weekend extremely relaxing and fun. The Charles Inn is a quaint, charming inn, and the breakfast that Paula makes is fit for a gourmet restaurant. Their company... More

We arrived around dinner time and thought the outside of the house was beautiful -- they have a wooden porch with chairs for relaxing when the weather's nice. We were welcomed by John and Paula, both of whom were very friendly, and given a little tour of the house and our room by John, who loves to chat with guests.... More
