We stayed on a Wed & Thurs nights mid-May, with no big events going on around Annapolis...so a pretty quiet visit overall. I booked on the phone the month before and when I checked my reservation on line the week prior to our trip, I saw that our room showed a vacancy the 2nd night of our stay...I called and... More

We recently stayed in the Lord Calvert room with our two Shelties. What a beautiful room, way more so than most dog friendly rooms at other establishments! It's tastefully decorated, has a very comfy king sized bed, a two-person whirlpool tub, free internet, and plush robes. We could not have asked for more! Careth, the innkeeper, was so sunny and... What a great place to stay! The Queen Anne room is large and comfortable, with a huge Jacuzzi tub and a shower. It was quiet and accommodating for the entire time I was there. The armoire in the room was so big that I felt like I didn't pack enough clothes! The internet was as fast as home, and easy... More

Lovely Inn . Across from the State House and walking distance to the Bay. I stayed in The Chesapeake room. Very large, well appointed and on the Sunny Side of the Inn. There is a large jacuzzi that was wonderful at the end of a sightseeing day! Lovely and Very Comfortable. I had stayed there in the winter and really... More

Got a friendly welcome, room was very pleasant, location is excellent (my window looked directly onto the State House, and it's just a few steps from the front door down to Main St.). Despite the proximity to the centre of town, it was very peaceful.

The inn is very sweet and inviting. It is small, full of character, and perfectly located. The inn is three floors, one faces the state house (which is bright and beautiful at night) and the other side looks down on main street. There are many roads located nearby that are easy to walk down and be in the center of... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the State House Inn. We checked in late; however, our rooms were prepared and ready prior to our arrival. The Inn was conveniently located- a quick walk around the corner and we found ourselves on Main Street. I really enjoyed the fact that it is a small Inn (only 7 rooms). We had a... More

The State House Inn is, as others have stated, located in a prime spot for walking and visiting the sights, restaurants and shops. We stayed in the Chesapeake room and though it was large and adequate it was hardly memorable. The sunrise view was impressive. But, the room needs TLC. I opened the right hand desk drawer looking for a... More

I had a wonderful time while at the State House Inn! The rooms are amazing and the views from the rooms are absolutely memorable. Also, each room is full of beautiful antique furniture that gives you a feeling of going back in time. I stayed from Feb. 23 thru Feb. 25th for business. The first few nights I stayed in... More
