The room is small but clean and comfortable, everything works, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast downstairs is really good if you are a connoisseur of diner breakfasts (and take the credit toward anything on the menu instead of the limited options included in the room cost). If you plan to spend your time and money enjoying the city... More

The room was pretty tiny, the door barely cleared the bed. There was mold in the bathroom above the tiny shower. The shower head allowed for a wide spray which soaked the bathroom floor. The towels were thin and ratty and checking in at the deli ("Delly") downstairs was awkward and cramped. Housekeeping came while we were out on Saturday... More

I stayed here over Memorial Day. It is in a great location and has such character. Check in was quick. We had room 301. It was quiet and clean. We only had one question and someone helped us right away. Everyone was very nice and helpful especially for a holiday!

The Scotlaur Inn is hard to find even though it is on busy Main Street. There is no lobby and you check in at the diner downstairs..No hotel name on the awning. I drove by it three times before calling and getting directions. The mattress in our room #303 should be replaced..Can't speak for the other rooms. If I were... More

In my opinion, best location - walk to all shops, restaurants, waterfront for boat tours and Naval Academy. It is a 10 room Bed & Breakfast with very clean & adequate (maybe a little "Spartan" to some standards) rooms. Be in good enough shape to walk up the 40 stairs if you're on the third floor. The breakfasts at the... More

Nice place, room small but not too small. Was very quiet despite being right on Main Street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided at deli/resteurant downstairs very good. Place does great business so must have repeat diners.

We stayed at the Scotlaur for two nights during a weekend side trip to Annapolis. The Scotlaur was a compromise: less expensive than the other downtown hotels (although certainly not cheap) and a better location than the chains a few miles away. Parking in Annapolis is scarce and expensive, so I wanted to be close to everything. What I Liked... More

The Scotlaur Inn, billing itself as a B&B is not your typical B&B. The hotel sits in the 2nd and 3rd floors of an old building smack dab in the middle of the action in Annapolis, right on Main Street. The hotel sits atop a very popular "Delly" restaurant. The restaurant is noisy and emits lots of great smells, but... More

We stayed at the Scotlaur Inn (Scott and Laura) while our son was at Summer Seminar at the Academy. It is centrally located in downtown and right on the free tram line. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was big and hot. The owners are an active part of the establishment and have been running Chick and... More
