Location, location, location. If you’re looking for an Annapolis B&B that’s within easy walking distance of shopping, dining and the sites, it’s hard to beat Gibson’s Lodgings, which is literally on the other side of the wall from the U.S. Naval Academy. My wife and I stayed two nights on the second floor of the property’s Berman House, which was... More

Just checked out of Gibsons and had to take a moment to comment on what a great weekend we enjoyed there. First of all, the staff was friendly and beyond accommodating. Meredith, your restaurant and happy hour suggestions were all spot on! We truly enjoyed your hospitality! We stayed in the Lauer bldg, the bed was the most comfortable bed... More

I picked up my friend on a January evening at Baltimore Airport and we quickly motored out to Annapolis. We had advance reservations at Gibson's Lodgings, but arrived after the office was closed. The free parking lot was snow covered, but portions were shoveled for our convenience--I think we were the only ones staying over that night as it was... More

Gibson's Lodgings was perfect for a quick overnight girls get together. The downtown location make everything walkable. We loved the rooms in Lauer and Berman. We arrived before check-in and got a nice cup of tea in the parlor before heading out for a delicious lunch at the Iron Rooster. From the thoughtful touches (cookies) to easy parking in the... More

We stayed here for a wedding in June - everything was perfect. Beautiful rooms, ideal location walking distance to downtown / to the water. While we were here, wedding guests, along with the bride and groom, filled the entire place, which was ideal. Such a great place for a wedding party. The hosts stock the fridge in the kitchen with... Stayed 2 nights at Gibson's in the Patterson House. Lovely home and grounds and I assume the other lodgings on the grounds are just as nice. The courtyard and free parking are an added bonus. Plus right next door to the Naval Academy which was our primary point of interest. Owner and all staff we encountered were so friendly and... More

Gibson's was amazing! More than I could have asked for on my engagement night! Everything about our stay was unforgettable! Gibson's was the perfect place to end the night after a wonderful day walking around town and eating on the water. I loved the area and Gibson's was in an unbelievable location! Steps away from the main square and right... More

we enjoyed our stay at Gibson's. Nice but simple rooms, excellent breakfast and sitting rooms, and very friendly and helpful staff. They even gave us some cookies for the road. Free parking, plus you are close to the naval academy, downtown, and the harbor(s).

Clean but average for an Inn. Maybe it was just slow. Innkeepers were friendly but scarce. Breakfast was just basic buffet and time limit was not necessary since no hostess was available. Right next to the Annapolis academy entrance so if this is your destination it is great.

Dear RBInnkeeper, I am a little surprised at your review of my place. I thought we shared several funny stories about being Innkeepers. We spoke several times during your stay so I am not sure how I was scarce. We are always in the office baking, making reservatons and chatting with our guests. I do not consider my wonderful place... My husband and I went for our 45th college reunion and wanted a place to stay that was within reasonable walking distance of the St John's College campus. Gibson's was a great choice. There was always a great fruit cup for breakfast which was very informal. Several people were staying there to attend various reunion and homecoming events and it... More
