Our stay was 2 years ago but I recall it as a very pleasent, comfortable and wonderful stay! Sophie is a great person and makes you feel at home from the first second on! The breakfast was great, she helped us finding some outdoor activities, and the rooms are even more than only clean! Not taking into account the price... More

We had a wonderful time at The Taylor House. Sophia does more than welcome her guests, she makes you feel like an old friend. The house is beautiful, in a picturesque and peaceful location, and has every amenity as well as being immaculately clean and comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here, whatever the reason for visiting Annapolis.

Less than five minutes from the heart of Annapolis lies The Taylor House in a peaceful country setting that is a world apart from the dense, colonial town so near. Innkeeper Sophia Taylor Gibbs is descendant of a colonial Annapolis family, and her knowledge of the area and its history is most helpful. The spacious rooms are well-furnished in Colonial... More

I went to Annapolis to stay at The Taylor House with the purpose of getting my grad paper finished. I had writers block and hadn't made much progress, so the weekend before it was due I decided to make a change of scenery and spend the weekend working. They were very accommodating and friendly. They made sure the room had... More

Sometimes you stay at B&Bs and they are nothing like the visuals you see on the website. In fact some are such a disappointment that it makes one not want to have the B&B experience. BUT this place... the website does not do it justice. This place is fantastic. The Sophia (s) experience is so worth it as well. What... More

While the Taylor house is very clean and spacious, we will pass if we are ever in town again. If you do stay here I do suggest you don't stay downstairs as this is the innkeepers home as well and they kept very late hours when we were there, carrying on in the kitchen and communal living room while we...
