Stayed here one night November 16th on way home from New Brunswick. Friendly staff, very affordable, good beds, cozy and clean. This is the second time I have stayed in a Motel 8 in two different city and I would recommend both of them. Only bad thing is they are set back from the road with two poor looking buildings... more

Chose this Super 8 because it was inexpensive for just an overnight stay. It's located close-by to many fast food places and Highway 95. The place is not real appealing set back from a gas station. It offered a very simple continental breakfast in a very confined area in the small lobby area. We had a king size bed in... more

We stayed at the Super 8 in Augusta on our way to Sugarloaf ski resort. The hotel is very accessible to Route 95 and is located near plenty of shopping and restaurants. It was a clean, comfortable room and included a refrigerator and extended cable tv. The beds were comfy and the front desk clerk helpful. We had a non-smoking... more

We stayed here for 1 night (August 25th) and for the price I definately could not complain. It was clean, fresh, & had a good air conditioner. If your just needing a place to sleep for the night don't hesitate to go here. Remember it's a Super 8- you're not booking a luxury hotel, so your not going to get... more

I have stayed at the Super 8 Augusta Maine several times over the last two years. I was pleasantly surprised at my stay this week. Rooms have been remodeled, new A/C units, microwave and refrigerator were new, new furnishings, beds very comfortable. Bathroom was clean but old. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had, smoking and non-smoking... more

Honestly, while I can't say this one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, it certainly is far from the worst. The common areas (hallways, lobby area) could really be freshened up, however the rooms were recently renovated and were quite nice. The staff was friendly and this Super 8 now has the wireless internet access which was VERY... more

Rooms were dirty. Washclothes were gray color. There were three of us staying in a room. When we asked for more towels, we were told the maid wouldn't like it; then they begrudgingly gave them to us. All together 8 of us shared 3 rooms. None of us smoke, but one group had to take a smoking room due to... more

We checked in at the Econo lodge in Augusta ME- my wife and 11 month old baby - for an overnight stay on July 18th this year on our way through to Canada. It was a hot, humid evening so we turned on the room air conditioner which immediately began spewing out dank musty air. I looked inside the AC... more
