This Hampton Hotel was wonderful! From the excellent service to the immaculate rooms and delicious breakfast, we couldn't have been more satisfied. We have stayed in a lot of Hampton Inns - this location was the top of the list! Would stay here for sure if ever in Augusta, ME again!!

I used this hotel because of it's easy access to the highway and local resturants. Mexican resturant out front stays open until 1 AM but the kitchen closes at 11 PM. The room was extra large and spacious with handicap accessibility to the shower/tub. Breakfast was the usual fare of eggs, pastries and cereals, coffee & juices.

Rather than repeat the positive comments others have made (and with which we agree), please believe we have tried some of the other hotels reviewed for the area, and there is just no comparison with the Hampton Inn. Others are dated, practically on the interstate itself in one case, have smaller rooms or no amenities (like a pool or exercise... More

Would stay here again, Staff were very friendly, hotel was clean and new and pool area was great especially after travelling all day. Wonderful continental breakfast. We were provided with a cot for our 3rd daughter with no hassle. Hotel is located right off the highway. Restaurant next door but only a few miles away from more popular restaurants and... More

The room was large and clean. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband had to work during the day and so did I. I worked from the room with no trouble. And when I did have trouble, it was resolved fast. What more can you ask for from a hotel?

My room at the Augusta, Maine Hampton was comfy, quiet, and well-appointed. Only a small complaint: while the breakfast was ample and the offerings varied, they weren't what you'd call appealing...the pastries/breads were not even decent supermarket quality, and those pre-made omletts...really? A for effort by very pleasant staff. The trendy hat worn 24/7 by the desk guy, though...not so... More

Everything looked and smelled. The bed was so comfy i called the cloud. I never wanted to leave it! The standard room was quite big and decorated in a modern fashion that was pulled off well. When i come back to Augusta would love to stay here again.

I spent considerable time trying to find a fault with this hotel but was unable to do so. I learned this hotel is just 2 years old (not remodeled 2 years ago but built brand new 2 years ago.) Large spacious room with microwave, couch, etc. Front desk staff were exceptional as well as the young lady managing the breakfast/dining... More

Clean, well maintained, cheerful and efficient staff. Great refrigerators in every room. The only downside of the hotel would seem to be that it is not within walking distance of many restaurants, although there is a Mexican restaurant across the parking lot.

We stayed in this hotel on our way up to Baxter State Park. No surprises. The room is comfortable with a big bed. All the amenities you need with a friendly and efficient staff at the front desk. We also talked with one of the women who cleaned rooms, and she was absolutely helpful, friendly and knew the local area.... More

Thank you Chris for your comments. We know we have a great group of people working here, but it's nice to be recognized by the guests we serve. Have a great autumn! More
