The comfort of the beds, the decorating, and the bathroom amenities all show attention to detail. There was not that "well-worn" feeling that many B&Bs have. A refrigerator with water and other cold drinks is a welcome touch. We needed an extra bed in the room for my 17 yo daughter. There was a real bed, not a cot. We... More

Olga took good care of my daughter and me when we were in town for a college visit. She's an outstanding chef; breakfast included wild Maine blueberries, yogurt and homemade granola, a healthy and delicious breakfast wrap of eggs, potatoes, sausage and herbs, espresso and more fresh fruit. The room, especially the bed, was very comfortable. This location is just... More

This is a lovely inn where we recently stayed. The new owner, Olga, is doing a great job and is doing some updates to the property. She is a warm and gracious host. Our room was comfortable, clean, bright and sunny. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were luxurious. The inn is in town, so you do... More

Good hotel accommodation in Maine is a rare find. This B&B is very comfortable, cozy and I would say romantic, even if you did not come for it. I would call if a boutique hotel by its feel and what it offers. Great find for a traveler in Portland area.

This was the first time our family has stayed at a Bed and Breakfast, so we did not know what to expect. There is no other way to put it other than to say, the Munroe Inn not only met our hopes but surpassed them beyond our wildest dreams. Not only were the rooms spacious, clean and had the home... This was my second time staying at the Munroe Inn. Dave and Melanie were very gratious hosts and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and have everything you could want, including DirecTV, which is a plus becasue most hotels only give you a small choice of channels. The breakfast was great, fresh fruit to go... More

The Munroe Inn is a great place to stay while in the Lewiston Auburn Area. Dave and Melanie have done a great job on this wonderful old home. It is quaint, charming and romantic. The food was great and the company even better. Staying at the Munroe in mad a nice weekend even better. I'll be staying there as often... More

Everything about the Munroe Inn is wonderful. The moment you walk through the front door you are greeted by the innkeepers Dave and Melanie and they make feel right at home. The inn itself is beautiful, filled with period antiques and gorgeous woodwork. Dave is thrilled to take you on a tour and share the history of the Munroe Inn.... More

We recently enjoyed a charming stay overnight at the Munroe Inn. The property is beautifully restored and decorated, with period-appropriate Victorian pieces -- a bit fussy, but in context, what belongs in an inn of this vintage. It is conveniently located within a few blocks of downtown and the river. We stayed in the Florence room, which is ample in... More

The owners of the Munroe Inn have done a wonderful job of renovating an old Queen Anne house -- the first floor is beautiful, with tremendous refinished woodwork and nice decoration. The property is a short walk from downtown Auburn, a nice small town where there are a number of restaurant choices. The staff (daughter of the owners) is very... More
