If you like the out of doors, this is the place. This is a small "sports camp" in the remote North Woods of Maine. There are only about 10 cabins, and lots of good fishing, hiking, swimming, boating and birding. Canoes and kayaks are available free of charge. Motor boats are available for renting, and fishing guides are available. Three... More

Just back from a weeklong trip to Bradford - our ninth year. Karen and Igor Sikorsky are excellent hosts and go out of their way to make you feel at home. No WIFI or cell coverage is a huge plus - went an entire week without looking at a cellphone or iPad. Cabins are rustic but very comfortable. No electricity... More

This place is out in the middle of nowhere on a lake. A rare gem of a find for lunch while on a snowmobile trip in Maine. Excellent home cooked food and wonderful service from the owner/waitress. This is a must stop if your in the area snowmobiling. You won't be disappointed.

After numerous adventures into the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, we decided to try the Bradford Camps as an alternative to sleeping on the ground, filtering all water, living with food that required no cooling and learning how much foul weather our tent or canoe could endure. Karen and Igor welcomed us to their delightful camps that were as remote as the... More

Our fast-paced world can sometimes be a technology overload; Bradford Camps is the perfect escape! My husband and I first heard about this fantastic destination after reading a review of Bradford Camps in an in-flight magazine. The article lived up to everything we experienced. The owners, Karen and Igor are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, as... More

Bradford Camps is a very special place. The cabins are neat and tidy, and they have working bathrooms with hot showers, and an amazing view of the lake. The food is great with cookies available in the cookie jar all day. There is lots to do - fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking - RELAXING. No cell service - no internet -... More

I travel around the world for work so when I go on vacation, I want to escape. No email. No phones. No computers. Bradford Camps is a slice of heaven that allows me to escape in rustic comfort. Run for Igor and Karen Sikorsky, Bradford Camps is a historic sporting camp that caters to both the sportsman and families. Situated... More

If you like the great outdoors, fishing, hiking and swimming, Bradford Camps can't be beat. It consists of 8 waterfront cabins on Lake Munsungan, a 3-mile long lake--the only cabins on this wonderful lake. The cabins have hot and cold running water and propane lights--no electricity. The cabins are cleaned daily and are spotless and roomy. The main lodge serves... More
