I would never stay at this hotel again. Unfortunately, the place is unkept and dirty. My family & I went to eat breakfast prior to check-out time and we had the unpleasant experience of having to wait on 4 of the housekeepers and maintenance staff that were eating breakfast and piling up their plates with eggs, buiscuits and bacon. These... More

We recently visited the Sai for a trade show. Much to our surprise, it was a pleasant stay. We checked in after dark and the place on the outside looks a little worn. enter inside and the desk clerk was so accommodating and helpful. when we got to our room, a few minor issues, towels and hangers were rectified immediately.... Just checked out from the place after spending 1 night. Surely wouldn't stay there longer. Must admit that the room was pretty clean, especially sheets, but the entire building really needs reconstruction! Everything is very old and scratched. Even though housekeepers did their job to clean the bathroom, it still looked messy because of it's age. Not very pleasant feeling,... More

The front counter personnel on Friday night were nice, but seemed to be a little rattled. I got to my room without incident. At 11:30 pm, I am at the desk working and my wife is asleep, when 2 people carrying luggage was able to unlock and open the door. They seemed surprised that the room was not vacant. They... More

We ended up canceling our reservations - -when we pulled up to the hotel it looked as though it was abandoned. We decided to go elsewhere. Not sure when they took the pictures of the rooms and the hotel to put on the internet, but the actual hotel looked nothing like those! Stay away is my only recommendation.

We travel to Alexandria about twice a year and were pleased with the hotel. We just returned from a trip there and the condition of the property was shocking. The room was neet, but the bed spreads look as if they hadn't been cleaned in months; the bathroom smelled of chlorine, but there was dirt spread on the floor and... More

Front desk workers are nice. Free breakfast is good. Rooms need updating. The rooms have a humidity problem. Most rooms have portable humidity machines. Older hotel. Pool is good. They don't give you a lot of towels. No extra blankets. They have small refrigerators in the room. Very quiet. No don't hear any outside noise.

We were on our way from Dallas to NOLA. We decided to stop for a night in Alexandria. Did I love the town? OMG. Yes. Did I like this hotel? YES. Excellent staff and quite an acceptable breakfast spread, this hotel was sure a surprise. The town in itself is so nice and made me want to stay a little... More
