Alexandria, LA's MacArthur Drive can be a scary place to rent a hotel room, especially since the hurricanes. The Town Talk newspaper frequently reports holdups at hotels along this strip. However, this Super 8 was clean and comfortable with a visible security presence, courteous staff, and a reasonable rate. Highly recommended! more

What a great rate! Any problems that we had can be cured by the price! We almost didn't stay there because they only had smoking rooms available. However, we were assured that they didn't smell like smoke. The lady checking us in noticed that my husband had an Army t-shirt on and asked us if we were military. We told... more
