I had to stay 2 nights in this terrible hotel. Workers started repairing the swimmingpool at 10pm. They were welding ,grinding and hammering until 3am. We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel. Its not worth the prize you pay. Its a very big hotel well located in the city with 363 rooms, but the Hotel has only 2 to 3 receptionists so generally the check inn/out is very long. The breakfast is good but the service is lousy. This is a locally owned hotel. It is way overpriced for what you get. The food is terrible, the service is non existant, the wireless is sporatic and the jackhammering starts at 7am as they are doing construction next door. Ensure you ask for a renovated room if you have to stay here-many hotels are fully booked. My biggest complaint... more

I'm currently staying at the Riande Continental on Via Espana. I've been there for 6 days, so I've a good impression now. First of all, the hotel was chosen by my local company office as they have a deal there. The rate for a standard room is $90+tax. The room is fine; typical square shape with a queen sized bed.... more
