The hotel is a little pricy by Panamanian standards, but not bad by American standards. $100 per night gets you a large two room suite, a great bed and a decent bathroom. The hotel is located right in the middle of the city, and includes a pretty nice casino. I recommend the roulette for a fun time with reasonable table... more

We stayed in a Cabana room of the Hotel for 4 nights, the room was very quiet and clean. The hotel has a very nice pool and a busy exercise area. The Flamingo restaurant is not very good and very expensive compared to other restaurants in the area($30/ person for buffet). The hotel is located in a good location, nears... more

We stayed with our 15-month-old for a weekend in Panama City. We arrived late one night and a crib wasn't ready, but it came up shortly and was a fullsize crib, rather than the pack & play we usually get when we are travelling. The room was huge and gave her space to be away from us in bed, and... more

The hotel has a fantastic pool and a decent gym. The gym has limited weights but enough to get a good workout and has a large selection of new cardio machines. The breakfast buffet is good. I have to agree about the noise levels that other reviewers mentioned. Recommend you request a cabana room by the pool or the junior... more

I stayed at the El Panama hotel over a year ago. The location was great, the room was clean and spacious and the pool area and layout of the hotel is simply beautiful. The staff were courteous and the buffet breakfast had more than enough choices and never got low on any food offered. If I had to say one... more

We stayed here at the beginning and end of an OAT tour. Our first stay of one night we had a standard room on the 7th floor, facing the pool. It was large and nicely furnished with a comfortable king sized bed. The second stay of 2 nights we were on the recently upgraded and remodeled executive level (5th floor).... more

We stayed at the El Panama at the beginning and end of a nine day tour of the country. When we checked in the first time, we were inadvertantly given an occupied room. Because of the mistake, they reassigned us to a 6th floor, newly updated room. It was lovely and quiet. Before flying out of Panama, we once again... more

This hotel has been recently renovated and looks great - in the heart of the city. The public spaces are superb quality - enjoyable places to see and be seen. The rooms are also very spacious and come with the full range of accessories that one would expect in a nice hotel. No shortage of furniture, space, or light. Am... more
