I was very pleased with this hotel. It is about 20-30 minutes from the airport, and the fare was $28 from and $20 back to the terminal. Check in was very efficient and I was in my room about ten minutes after arriving. The Staff at the front desk were extremely good and courteous. All spoke excellent English and helped... more

ok, so at $320/night, I reserve the right to be a tad demanding... hotel is beautiful, well appointed, decor is nice, staff are courteous. Ok, so here are my beefs: I stayed 2 nights, and no hot water....awakening to cold showers is not my forte. Secondly, in room internet (wi-fi) is an extra $15/day. Located far from downtown Panama City in a residential n'hood. Far, far from all the action. Recently remodeled....but the manana service has not been corrected. Room Service slow and poor. We were in Panama for our son's wedding and stayed 3 nights. Found staff very helpfull and pleasent, rooms very clean and comfortable and the whole stay a pleasure. Breakfast was very good and general dining in either the Coffee shop or restaurant was also excellent. Pool area and pool was very good even though overlooked by lots of building... more
