A sea of tranquility after the harrowing drive from the airport with a rented SUV dodging crazed Panimanian drivers with no appreciable road signs for guidence anywhere to be found. I felt as if I had been rescued from a desert island upon my arrival at the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson on the incredible Amador Causeway. They speak... more

I stayed four nights at this hotel. The hotel is okay but nothing special - except the location. The only reason to stay here is to have a constant view of the ships going by on the canal right off your balcony. If you have a parking lot view you'd be better off staying at a more centrally located hotel... more

We stayed at this Hotel for a week as a base for several side trips which worked very well.. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast good, the staff very helpful, the pool nice, good internet service, and the view from the balcony wonderful. Being in Amador, there were lots of restaurants to choose from. The only negative was the... more

"I am conflicted about writing this but I caution you to reconsider your stay at this hotel. We were quoted a promotional senior discount rate over the phone from El Valle, 2 hours away. When we checked in we didn't read the fine print and shame on us for not writing down the person's name who gave us the quote... more

I stayed 6 nights in this hotel for business purposes and I really liked the hotel. If I were to come again for vacactions I would definitely choose this hotel. It is very family oriented, the pool is great for kids, breakfast buffet with lots of variety of foods, room is spacious and clean. Mi room had view of the... more

If you are a traveller (and not a tour bus type) this is not really for you. It scores zero on the cool scale, BUT it is the only hotel on the Canal and has suberb views and a nice pool. It is good for families or if you want to be situated in this part of town. We stayed... more

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted. It was a distance from the airport but, we got a taxi for $40. Which wasn't bad for not pre-booking. It's cheaper if you pre book through the hotel. This hotel is on the Panama canal. If you are coming just for the canal, stay here. Which, Is why we did. We... more

We would like to visit the country of PANAMA. So, when planning our vacation we were searching through internet the hotels of Panama City. Here in TripAdvisor we read each Hotel Review of Panama City. After that, we tried to check rates for some of them. We found through HOTEL-BOARD.COM a very reasonable rate for this hotel. Instead it is... more

Stayed a total of 3 nights. Fist night late arrival so woke up to great view and enjoyed coffee on the balcony. The room is a tad worn but the view was great and peaceful and I really enjoyed watching the ships go by. The breakfast was fine and inculded. We also stayed another 2 nights on our return from... more
