We spent 6 nights at this hotel in July. Even though it is now becoming one of the “older” hotels we were very pleased with our visit. We were greeted at the front desk by two lovely young ladies (“D” and “C”) and they made us feel welcome (service with a smile). They both did all they could to make... More

The quality of the rooms was just fine but there are many things to watch out for before staying here. The wifi signal is in and out at best which is too bad since you have to pay for it. The location of the hotel is on the bay which makes for a great view though it seem tough to... More

Sometimes one is just as happy to stay at an hotel that has the necessary comforts but leaves one with nothing to remember. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. So was the bed. Service was OK as well. By 10pm restaurants within a reasonable distance from the hotel are closed, so don´t count on late evening food. Rooms service... More

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of a small ship cruise. We thought our room was large and well-maintained. We do find it strange that hotels in the tropics put heavy comforters on the beds, however. At least they can be removed. We were on the highway side of the hotel but didn't have a problem with noise.... More

Due to the recently opened 4-lane road between the hotel and the bay, this hotel is sandwiched between two of the busiest roadways in Panama City. The rooms are not sound proofed, so you will hear all the busy city traffic. You must cross these streets to go anywhere, but there is no safe way to do this. We ended... More

The Intercontinental Miramar, while in need of an upgrade, is an excellent Panama City choice. We booked an Executive Club room, but were upgraded to a two bedroom suite with balcony overlooking the bay. Service was excellent, check in and check out fast and painless, free valet parking with car retreival in just a couple of minutes. The Executive Club,... More

More luxurious than most US based hotels of the same brand. Amazing views from the ocean front side of hotel. I highly recomend calling ahead to ask for a room on the ocean front side. Everyone spoke English fluently and hotel and rooms were immaculate. Not as trendy as the posh Le Meridien which is right behind this hotel but... More

This hotel is nothing like what I would expect from an Intercontinental. I got the room for free from my Priority Club points and if I knew this is the kind of quality I would get from this hotel, I would have stayed somewhere else for a cost. I and my friends arrived after midnight for one night in Panama... More

Take a look at that (oceanside) view, few hotels in the world can match its glory.......two.....three......four......five. Ok, you've done the view thing, now it's time to get on with living. You walk into the hotel, you smell a musty (moldy?) smell. It is also in the hallways. but your room is ok, it has a nice stone tile floor with... More

I have been there on a business trip to Panama. I spent 24 hours in the hotel, we had a special fee of 237USD the night and I can tell you that for that money I would have expected to have a decent service and nice facilities! 1) Very noisy bedrooms: After an 18 hours trip to Panama this is...
