I booked three nights here but only stayed one. I thought it would be a lively place but it was the exact opposite. Their biggest error for me was breakfast...or lack of. I was told it was served from 7:30 to 11am. No one was to be found when I left my room at @8:00am. No coffee, fruit...nothing laid out.... More

We serve pancakes and fruit each morning for breakfast. Being a hostal we keep our breakfast basic and if guestas want anything more they can cook themselves. The breakfast is clearly stated as being pancakes and fruit so there should have been no dissapointment or confusion. In the low season as is common at any hostal we have less guests... More

I chose Casa Ramirez (dorm rooms) based on its reviews and location. Overall, it met expectations but did not exceed them. Its location wasn't too bad. The only public transport was a bus (you have to buy a bus card from the supermarket (10mins walk), but the bus itself was very unreliable, especially on weekends. I'd recommend taxis in Panama... Que Sopa! The staff was very polite and the building was spacious with a clean pool and nice bar with hammocks. I alternated between the private bunks and private room with shared bathroom. The location is good in that it is safe and you can walk to pubs, grocery stores and restaurants. I made friends here with both the staff... More

This place is amazing! The staff make you absolutely at home when you enter. You are immediately at ease in the extra nice surroundings. The assistance and advice we recieved was spot on and second to none. From arranging airport transfers to calling cabs to sightseeing, to restaurant advice - all done with ease. We'll be back!!

Had a great experience at Casa Ramirez with my brother and my buddy. The service was amazing and hilarious - CC, Diago and everyone else! They know the best places to go in town and even got us tickets and split in with us on VIP bottle service at a great club to see nicolas Jaar. BEST and most surprising... More

This is a super place to stay. I really got lucky picking this place. The people are great and the beds are amazing. I'd stay here again in a heart beat and can't wait to go back. I can't emphasize how great of a place this was.

Casa Ramirez was the perfect place to end our 34 day trip through Panama. It is a very special house, a paradise between high rise buildings. We stayed in a private de luxe room and it was big, clean and air conditioned. We had so much fun with the staff, they are so cool. It was indeed like staying with... More

Casa Ramirez itself is quite nice, located in a large house with lots of open space, a pool and a nice backyard. The room was clean and air-conditioned, the hostel felt safe, and the pancakes & fruit breakfast were great. The hostel itself is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Although it's relatively cheap to get around in cabs... More

You came to our staff and claimed you booked a room for $90. This does not exist here and that is what your were told. The room was $99. You signed a form that says we don't allow outside liquor yet you were surprised when someone ask you to follow the rules? We have a cheap bar with $1.50 beers... More
