Casa Ramirez is a rare find! If you are visiting Panama and wish to take a break from the city’s manic energy, head on over to Casa Ramirez, an oasis of COOL. Here COOL is ‘new school international’ in a place where staff bridge many cultures and outlooks effortlessly. The spacious residence with a restful garden, pool, lounge and bar... More

Had a great experience at Casa Ramirez with my brother and my buddy. The service was amazing and hilarious - CC, Diago and everyone else! They know the best places to go in town and even got us tickets and split in with us on VIP bottle service at a great club to see nicolas Jaar. BEST and most surprising... More

This is a super place to stay. I really got lucky picking this place. The people are great and the beds are amazing. I'd stay here again in a heart beat and can't wait to go back. I can't emphasize how great of a place this was.

Casa Ramirez was the perfect place to end our 34 day trip through Panama. It is a very special house, a paradise between high rise buildings. We stayed in a private de luxe room and it was big, clean and air conditioned. We had so much fun with the staff, they are so cool. It was indeed like staying with... More

Casa Ramirez itself is quite nice, located in a large house with lots of open space, a pool and a nice backyard. The room was clean and air-conditioned, the hostel felt safe, and the pancakes & fruit breakfast were great. The hostel itself is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Although it's relatively cheap to get around in cabs... More

You came to our staff and claimed you booked a room for $90. This does not exist here and that is what your were told. The room was $99. You signed a form that says we don't allow outside liquor yet you were surprised when someone ask you to follow the rules? We have a cheap bar with $1.50 beers... More

Stayed here for 30dec - 02.jan and 12-15.jan. Great hostess and hostes Lacey, CC, Diego and Carlos will make sure you have everything you need and want if you ask them. There was never a boring day here with the other great guests. All from drinking, citizen arrest to movie night. Will stay here next time in Panama

After traveling through Panama for a week, Casa Ramirez was a great find. The people running it are fun, the atmosphere is chill, and the backyard tempts you to just hang out all day and not go see the city. The house/yard is its best feature. The pool, bar, backyard, and patio were designed for relaxation. Hammocks, comfortable chairs, and... More

This was honestly one of the best experiences I've had staying in a hostel. I was in between trips and needed a place to stay and work during the day. Everyone was great about giving me space and letting me get my work done. At night, the staff made me feel like I was a part of the Casa Ramirez... More

I stayed in this hostel for 3 days. My experience began on a disastrous note. I had requested that I should be picked up by taxi since I was arriving in Panama city at 2.30 am. Diego told me the rate for the taxi and asked me to share all the details like the flight no, airline etc. When I... More

Sorry for your taxi confusion. We try to help with taxis when ever possible sorry there was confusion with yours. We only provide fruit and pancakes for breakfast as a courtesy to our guests. You write as if papaya raw is a bad thing? Would you prefer for us to cook our papaya? Here in Panama we eat fruits raw... More
