The location of the Inn is good and the airport service was excellent. However, overall I was disappointed. The room with private bath, actually had the bathroom down the hall (though it was strictly for me) which was inconvenient and not at all what I thought it would be. Every time I wanted to use the bathroom, I had to... More

Dear Angela, Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed the location and our airport pickup service, and I am sorry your stay did not match your expectations. Room 2B indeed has a private bathroom outside the room and has no city view. We do mention this on our website, which you made your booking through. We are... More

We loved this place. The staff was extremely helpful and were there 24 hours. We stayed in one of the private rooms which was a really great value. You get the common space of the hostel, with the A/C and private shower of a hotel. We loved Casco Viejo, highly recommend staying in this neighborhood! Tons of great restaurants and... More

Casco Viejo is a fantastic place to stay. Magnolia is walking distance to the best bars and restaurants in this part of the city. The staff is extremely helpful and the common area is great. We stayed in a two bed private and it was very clean and extremely worth spending a little but more. Would come back to Magnolia... More

My first encounter with Magnolia Inn and I have been very impressed!! All reception staff were kind and so helpful, going above and beyond with recommendations and useful information. The dorm room was a beautiful welcome relief to walk into, spacious, clean, comfortable beds with individual lights and power sockets, secure lockers. Large open communal lounge space, kitchen and clean... More

After months of travelling around Central America, Panama City was my last stay. What a way to end such a wonderful trip. Huge comfy beds with amazing linen, air con to escape the hot Summer heat and nestled in the picturesque old town of Casco Viejo. I stayed in the Private Room 2B, with my own ensuite across the hall.... More

The property is simply stunning, very clean and really well restored in its old charm. We stayed in Room 2C which had two comfortable queen beds, large private bath a/c and TV. The mini fridge was a nice extra. No breakfast included but they have a fully stocked kitchen that you can use plus there are plenty of breakfast places... More

I was at the Magnolia only for 1 night, but I still really liked it. The hotel is located in the middle of the old town (Casco Viejo), which is a really nice place to walk and visit. The staff was really great, pointing out where everything I wanted was (cheap place to do laundry, pharmacy, restaurants, etc.). The room... More

The owners and staff were very helpful, and the location was great. Casco Viejo is a great part of Panma City...reminds me a bit of Cartagena, in Colombia. The hotel is vey reasonably priced, and provide a great combinaion of qualtiy accomodations, prime location, and a feeling of security in a place far away from home. Great value.

Despite the shock of learning ONLY UPON ARRIVAL that we'd have to carry our luggage up to the "pent house" and the pedestrian quarters, the place is actually weirdly charming. The staff --including it's hands-on owner-was friendly and very helpful. The vibe is young. The location is excellent for walking. Drive at your peril! .
