This boutique hotel is in the heart of Casco Viejo. If you've never been here, it is like stepping into a movie. So much in fact that they filmed parts of the James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace in this old colonial part of Panama. My family loved staying here and this is one of 2 places they've asked to... This place was great! Great coffee variety of items to eat bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee cake, muffins and lots of different things to drink! Very friendly service! Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast and coffee! English and Spanish speaking staff!

We spent 7 days at Red Frog Beach and then spent 3 days in Panama City before heading back to the states. We stayed as Casa Sucre Boutique Hotel and would recommend it. Great location, great attentive Owners, Rich and his wife made us feel very much at home. They operate a Coffee shop that was a great place to... More

We stayed there Dec 27-31 2014 and loved it. The hotel was charming, and well located in the middle of the action in the Old City. So much to see just walking around. The breakfast was delicious and the cafe welcoming. The only downside was the noise in the common area of our suite (although we had been warned that... More

The location is fantastic. It is very close to all the key attractions in Casco Viejo. The owners are very helpful with information. We were disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price of the room (apparently because we booked with Booking.com! ) This seems strange, specially because Casa Sucre has a coffee shop next to the hotel owned... This small inn sits above a corner cafe, has homey public lounging areas, and highly decorated guest rooms. Very high quality appointments. For those carrying heavy bags, either get someone to carry them up the long flight of stairs or select another place, as I saw no elevator. Great location on a side street not far from the cathedral. Other... More

I didn't think the owners of Casa Sucre could make it any better but they did. This is my 3rd visit to this ideally located boutique hotel and my first since they opened their cafe. While I loved the home cooked breakfast serve they used to serve every morning, the coffee and food in their cafe are incredible. They coffee... More

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The location: Incredibly beautiful location. They have probably the best corner in Casco - walking distance to the water, old cathedrals, every bar and restaurant you could dream of, and the President's Palace. On top of that, you really feel like you're in the community and not gated away on some... More

We stayed at Casa Sucre in Casco Viejo because it was highly rated and we liked the look of it in the photos. Casco Viejo appealed and we liked the area, it was good for food, shopping, a good base to visit the Miraflores Dock and close to the bus station. The owners were friendly and they run a really... Dear TJLondon, Greetings from Casco Viejo, Thank you very much for your constructive remarks. We appeared to have dropped the ball on a few things that we missed during your visit with us. We normally have fresh, cold spring water in the refrigerator when you arrive. Our sincere regrets for missing this. We will definitely take to heart the comments... More

I stayed at Casa Sucre for two nights and had a wonderful time. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. It's a beautiful building in Casco Viejo and they've done an amazing job with the renovations of such a historic place. They have one of the best locations in Panama City. I stayed in the "apartment" that could easily sleep... More
