This hotel had prostitutes outside and they regularly were seen in the hotel as well. Local people were staying there and paying a totally different rate for the same rooms style as we stayed in. The hotel staff charged us the wrong amount and we ended up feeling totally ripped off when they also messed up our booking. The bedding... More

Stayed here one night, before getting picked up for our flight the next morning... This, for my husband and I, was ideal, since we didn't want to spend a lot of money. $33 a night, and we had clean sheets, hot water (had to wait a bit for it to reach the 5th floor!), a/c, TV, and THREE locks on... well run small hotel in central Calidonia.. Panama City. Basic, clean rooms with WiFi and basic cable... DOG FRIENDLY !! Your pets are welcome here. Near bus lines this is a good base camp for local travel. Quiet and family oriented hotel, with lots of south american visitors in Panama for the shopping. they have a basic restaurant off the... Driving through the Americas, we got stuck for almost three weeks in Panama City and stayed here as it met our needs for allowing our dog, having secure parking just across the street (we coud see our car from our room), and with working A/C and WiFi. The hot water was good and this place has the latest checkout time... More

A friend recommended this place and it was spot-on. In a very local area, I didn't see any other European person in 4 days here. Within easy walking distance of the waterfront walk and 'Casco Viejo', the old city, where you had fantastic views of the city. The room was a decent size and bathroom OK, had to wait a... More

I could copy and paste the text of the first reviewer as it accurately summarizes what you'll find at Hotel Lisboa. Nothing fancy, clean, one of the newer buildings, though not really new, Internet, ok location. We looked at probably 20 different hotels in 2 days to find something in the $30 - $50 price range and did not want... More

Don't go to Hotel Lisboa with any fancy expectations, and then you will be very pleasently surprised. It is a budget hotel in the old downtown area which lies between Historic Casco Viejo and the new upmarket downtown. It is an area in transition, there are highrise towers being built one street over, but it is not an area for... More
