We tried a half dozen hotels scattered around the city. This one is best if you want to be in near the city life. Good food, shopping and night life near by. I travel to/from Panama City on a regular basis and usually stay at the Hotel Marbella because of the great location and great service even though the rooms are a little drab. My wife was born in Panama and we are both retired so we got excellent rates. Our room had extras towels, pillows and comforters and that is unusual in Latin America.
