We liked the residential location in the Cerro Ancon area. The breakfasts were definitely below average; the coffee was chewy, and, except for the fresh fruit, the food was pretty bad. The room was clean, but our "king size" bed was two twins pushed together. The AC didn't work right. Our hostess was not very friendly, but she did get... More

Our visit to this low key B&B was our 'transition' from "Living in the USA" to a lovely Panama visit. Our hostess, Angie, was supportive and well organized. Everything was flawless. I will echo that Ancon Hill is way off the beaten track and yet right in the middle of things, taxis were clueless to find it, luckily Angie had... More

A nice B&B for first time to Panama City; same comments as other reviewers: clean, friendly, nice residential location. (We walked around Ancon some, would have walked further if we had time) Positives: Angeline is a great host and made arrangements for a birding guide for us and for a Canal Transit... in addition to airport pickup/drop off. Great job!... More

We felt very comfortable here, like being at home. Nice house in an green, quite setting on Ancon Hill. Very nice breakfast on the terrace with lots of fruit, yoghurt etc., warm and welcoming host. The only drawback of the location is that you have to take a taxi for a couple of dollars. For most taxidrivers it is not... More

During our 2 weeks in Panama we spent several nights in Dos Palmitos. Great location, quiet and relaxing with colorful birds and green in the backyard but still close to city center and sights. Angeline is the perfect host: friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended when travelling either alone, with friends or with family.

A return trip to Panama after 34 years. Stayed at Dos Palmitos for four non-consecutive nights. Wonderful. Nice walkable residential area of Ancon Hill. Very nice restaurant just down the street and a little further you reach the top of Ancon Hill with great views of the city and locks. This place was so comfortable, just like home. Angeline can... My wife and I stayed with Angelique at Dos Palmitos for a few days in August. We'd be back in a shot. - The house is beautiful and in a nice (and safe) part of the city; the rooms are nicely decorated and completely clean (and I mean, clean). - Angelique, the owner, is very nice & helpful (so nice... 1. Friendly hostess. 2. The location is great: A nice terrace where breakfast is served. Here you can easily spend two (or more) hours looking at the exotic birds who come to feed at the bird feeder and up towards the green Cerro Ancón. To enter the road that takes you all the way up the hill (great view over... More

Staying at Dos Palmitos was a great experience. The owner/operator/hostess Angeline was incredible. She was knowledgeable and so helpful (especially since my mom, who I traveled with, and I speak little to no Spanish). Breakfast was made to order and was always delicious. The b&b itself is safe, super clean, and very charming. Birds flock to the back yard. Overall,... More

My sister and I stayed for 10 days. The location is perfect – quiet and full of wildlife. Near Ancon Hill, a quick taxi ride to Casco Viejo (or 20 to 30 minute walk), and close to the bus stop. Bus ride to Allbrook mall and bus terminal takes 5 minutes. The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning.... More
