We stayed here a total of 5 nights during our 2 weeks traveling in Panama. This was a VERY nice Holiday Inn - very clean, new, big, beautiful rooms with amazing views of the Panama Canal. it is out of the main city center . . .and costs about $13 dollars to get to the city center via cab. . .to the airport $35. . . .however, this being said it is a good bargain at $160/ all taxes. . . the MiraFlores lock is literally 300 feet to the front side of the hotel. .... more

yeah... the hotel is new and everything, but it still has a long way to go. It's 20 minutes from the city, but only 5 to the Miraflores locks. The train will wake you up at 6 am sharp, and it WILL wake you up. more

I have visited this property to meet friends but not stayed there yet. It's certainly not a cosy Bed & Breakfast with personalized owner service. It's a new Holiday Inn on a nice location.
