it is out of the main city center . . .and costs about $13 dollars to get to the city center via cab. . .to the airport $35. . . .however, this being said it is a good bargain at $160/ all taxes. . . the MiraFlores lock is literally 300 feet to the front side of the hotel. .... more

yeah... the hotel is new and everything, but it still has a long way to go. It's 20 minutes from the city, but only 5 to the Miraflores locks. The train will wake you up at 6 am sharp, and it WILL wake you up. more

We stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn, City of Knowledge. We planned to stay three nights. This is the experience of my wife and myself: First night: Without any reason the reception called us in our room at 01.00 AM when we were sleeping. I just arrived from a 30 hour trip from Europe. I have visited this property to meet friends but not stayed there yet. It's certainly not a cosy Bed & Breakfast with personalized owner service. It's a new Holiday Inn on a nice location.
