Clean hotel and friendly staff. Price is fine for the quality of the room. We had airconditioning, shower was good and clean. Beds were a bit stiff but that's how I prefer my matras. Nicely situated between the places worth visiting. I'd book again if I needed a place to stay.

We spent 2 x 1 night going to and coming from our final destination. The reception and service are allways professional. The location is good. Not far from the Boulevard, Old Town and Albrook. Free WiFi and a restaurant Benidorm inside with very nice dishes and open 24hours. Don't worry about what happens on the street, just talk with them... More

I have stayed at the Hotel Acapulco every year for some days for at least 10 years. I think it is a terrific hotel with a great restaurant, the Benidorm. The people are friendly. United Airlines recently lost my bag for 4 days. The reception at the hotel kept phoning them. Everyone was on the lookout for my bag. I... More

I stayed there one night before my flight home. The rooms were clean and reasonably priced. The front desk staff were helpful and the restaurant next door is good. I didn't have any issues with safety. I also didn't see any prostitutes but, like any hotel, some could've been staying there.

We only stayed here for one night and id never go back! The lonley planet has a great write up about this place....I can only assume they have never been!! The room was clean, cheap and the reception staff were friendly but that's all the good stuff I can say. The area is a bit dodgy! And after 7pm the... More

This downtown hotel mainly comes up well because of its location . It is situated upstairs from the 24 hour restaurant in the area. Otherwise there's not so much going in its favour.

We stayed in Hotel Acapulco on our first day in Panama City and my husband insisted on changing hotel after we walked around in the area. The hotel itself is not very modern and I disliked the room because we found so much rubbish from the previous guests in the bathroom and in the bedroom, too! The receptionists did not... More

We booked this hotel at the last minute, in rather a panic, as everywhere else seemed to be full. We had actually read the previous review about the dodgy area, but decided that we´d just bite the bullet and use taxis. We phoned the day before and were told the price of the room was 38 dollars. We confirmed the... More

Ok, You really need to be careful if you choose to stay at this hotel! The reviews led me to believe that it was a great place and a great deal. It's a great deal if you don't consider danger and prostitutes to be a problem. My taxi driver warned us not to walk around the area when he dropped... More
