We definitely enjoyed our stay at El Conquistador in Managua. Like others have said in the review it definitely has an inviting and family atmosphere. Me and my husband three kids stayed here during our excision to Nicaragua from the states and we loved the attention to detail and the colonial style of the hotel. The rooms were great: cold... Bed and breakfast in the heart of Managua. I absolutely loved the room which was ice cold and the service. Great experience and I definetly reccomend to my friends. The hotel the was friendly and the breakfast was in the traditonal nicaraguan flavor. Its the best place to stay in nicsragua.

I am from the United States and chose to travel to Nicaragua because my friends told me it is an undiscovered paradise. My stay at El Conquistador, along with my travels all over Nicaragua, was confirmed my expectations of Nicaragua. I learned that the hotel was named after the Conquistadores from Spain who traveled to Nicaragua during the Age of... More

Managua has a lot of history of being an old colonial city being conquered by the conquistadores. However, as a third world country, it is has been hard for the country to come out of its shell as a tourist destination. Also, it is hard to find decent accomodations if you are not one of the major chains. But El... More

My family we all stayed in the triple suite and it was a huge discount for a such a spacious suite. It’s cozy, comfortable, and well located within Nicaragua next to the Tourism office. The air conditioning is a must as Nicaragua is a very hot country. The staff feels like family and are very attentive of your needs. The... More

I am an avid traveler visiting countries all over South and Central America on business and vacation adventures, and I must say this is one of the best kept gems in all of Nicaragua. It has clean rooms and is nicely decorated both in the hotel rooms and the public outdoor areas. The hotel is comfortable, priced at a great... More

While Managua and Nicaragua itself is slowly evolving and changing as an international tourist destination, the bed and breakfast hotel El Conquistador has retained its humble and charming originality in serving its guests. This has been my second time traveling to the hotel and once again they have exceeded my expectations. The rooms are clean, the architecture charming, and the... More

Hotel El Conquistador is one of the few hotels with a beautiful Colonial style. The special accents and wrought-iron bedstands reveal a homespun famly run bed and breakfast at the heart of its operations. The rooms are big and comfortable and I stay here twice a year with my investment capital firm from Miami. There are lots of paintings, several... More
