This place is decent enough. It has a pool and the rooms are spacious. However, I paid over $80CAD (after taxes) for a hotel room that has seen better days. The room feels like it was made in the 60's and has not been updated since the time of Somoza. It is not in a particularly good location, but after... More

We travel to Managua about once a month, and have found this to be by far our best... and friendliest... value for the money. While certainly not in a class with, for example, the Crown Plaza, at $30 for 2 people it offers air conditioning, cable television, and a lovely pool. The hotel, though not new, is well-maintained by a... More

The hotel is about 20 minutes away from the airport so it's centralized. They provided us with shuttle service for $20. The staff is friendly and the place is always kept clean. We only paid $35 for a double room with AC, cable and free wi-fi and they gave us free breakfast on top of that. The only thing I... More

We stayed here for several days. pros and cons pros: inexpensive, good food, friendly staff, nice pool area to hang out, air conditioning. cons: not as clean as US hotels, most staff did not speak English, not a lot of amenities, noisy. If you are looking for a local place to stay, this is it. If you are looking for... More

Got a single-person room here for $20/night. For a few dollars more, I could've had an air-conditioned room, but the floor-standing multi-speed oscillating fan they put in my room was perfect, and I stayed here three nights. The $20 room was small, with barely enough space for the bed and a small TV on a stand. The room also had... More

I've stayed at a few hotels in Managua, whether in transit through the city to other destinations or in the city for a few days. As a single woman traveling alone, it is important that I feel safe and I like to be well taken care of... and this hotel provides both! Family owned, I think, but feels like it...... More

I have stayed in Hotel D'LIdo several times and have had inconsistent service. Sometimes the service was very good and others not so much. The rooms vary in size and quality and some of the beds are somewhat brokendown. There is a swimming pool but it appears not to be cleaned on a regular basis. The bar and pool can... More

Not for the first time I was in this hotel. It is quite well situated, allthough you will need a taxi to go to the centre. The hotel has a big pool, which is nice sitting next to it, under the rancho roof. The internet is working rather fast, compared to other places I have bin. The people are super... More

My husband and I stayed here on our last night in Nicaragua. The staff spoke decent english and we enjoyed chatting with them about our trip. There is a restaurant here with jalapeno sauce so good I still remember it months later. Staff stays all night so even though the restaurant closes, they will serve you adult beverages all night....
