Great looking hotel, with great views of the city. Was good, with great views. The view of the building of Nicaragua was awesome. There is also a view of lake Managua, and other cultural amenities of the city. Would recommend as a place with beauty. more

We traveled to Managua for a friend's wedding. This was our first time to Nicaragua and decided to stay at the Intercontinental because the wedding was going to be at the hotel. The rooms are of adequate size, but the bathroom was very small. The bathroom door hit the toilet and did not open wide. The rooms are well kept... more

From a corporate, business standpoint, this is one of the best hotels in all of Nicaragua. Our room was spartan clean, the bath and shower were all nice, and we had a nice view of the city and lake. But it didn't have a whole lot of character to it, which was okay, but it's the price you pay to... more

I had the absolute best experience in this hotel. I will definitely be returning. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Early every morning the manager walks around inspecting the cleanliness of the hotel. I witnessed him looking under vases and behind tables. The bathrooms are immaculately clean and beautiful. The beds and sheets are so soft. Parking is safe.... more

The Intercontinental is a beautiful hotel located in an excellent area of the city. When we stayed they had a promotional rate for the executive floor which was a real bargain. The rooms are modern and bright, room service was fast, the food was good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I rented a car from Hertz... more

I have stayed in many hotels but nothing like Metrocentro, because the concierge Tadi was absolutely fabulous, he organized me a trip where I enjoy part of the city and have the opportunity to know the Mombacho volcano. He was extremenly helpful because I used my free time to really know people and some parts of Managua and Granada's city.... more

After reading all of the reviews about Managua and this hotel I wonder if I stayed at the same hotel as the others. First, Managua is not a city that I would compare to any other. You must take Managua as it is. To juxtapose Managua with a developed city in another developed country would be a mistake. Despite all... more

the rooms are great for the price your paying, excellent light, perfect bed, clean and appropiate the bath tub is a bit to high so do be careful. My discomfort would be the internet service and the gym. The internet service in the rooms aside from being a fee charge it's extremely slow and in the middle night the service... more

This is a nice hotel in an awful city. . .Managua hasn't recovered from the 1972 earthquake, its lake is polluted, its streets are dirty, its main landmark, the Cathedral, has been uninhabitable for 45 years, and its streets don't have names. And when the shuttle pulled into the hotel, a demonstration on the corner where the hotel is located... more

As any Intercontinental the property was very nice. The staff was uniformly professional and pleasant. Bar is very cosy but they do not include a tip in the bill which is the normal practice in NU. more
