We arrived at Villa Maya with no reservation after just reading about it on Trip Advisor. We were lucky a room was available. The property was absolutely beautiful and the staff was really nice and helpful. We had lunch and dinner and they were very good although the price was pretty high for our backpacker budget. It was nice to... More

I searched many hotels in Managua, Nicaragua looking for a place to celebrate my 11 year anniversary with my wife. I chose the Villa Maya and was not disappointed. The staff, at my request, prepared the room with flowers. flower petals and candles. When my wife walked into the room she was immediately in tears. That moment made the entire... More

I have stayed at VIlla Maya twice now in a year for a total of 4 nights and it is always a pleasant and relaxing experience. I am always returning from travel in more remote areas of Nicaragua and so it is great to relax in a safe, friendly atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, with a refreshing pool, set in... More

Colorful, comfortable rooms with great bathrooms. Their are patio spaces on the first and second floors. The back space is full of a variety of vibrant flowers and a swimming pool. Great experience. The service was friendly and patient. The food was delicious, with gallo pinto, plantains, and a variety of meats being offered.

Peaceful and tranquil Hotel. Close enough to the city centre but located in a beautiful residential area outside Managua. Superb breakfast. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The gardens are gorgeous and magical to listen to the birds singing, watching humming birds and butterflies. Looking forward to going back again.

We stayed for ten days in this beautiful hotel . The staff could not have made us feel more welcome. In fact we felt as comfortable as if we were at home. But we don't have a tropical garden to step into. I love sitting out in the garden by the pool in the early morning listening to the tropical... More

This is a wonderful place to stay in Managua. A gated villa with excellent plants and landscaping by Vilma, the owner, quiet handsome rooms, nice pool, fine food. Stefany and the other staff are friendly and helpful; difficult to find, but this has more to do with the city's complete absence of posted street names or street addresses! Jim Collins

I stayed here only for a few hours overnight between flights in/out of Managua. The staff were very helpful - arranged ahead for a taxi to pick me up from airport, have dinner ready for my arrival, help with my luggage. Dinner was nice and the room was a good size and clean with a comfortable bed and good shower.... More

Stayed one night at the Villa Maya, was hoping to see Managua before moving on to Mombacho and Granada. The hotel was quaint and peaceful for a one night stay. I was very tired after a grueling flight. The staff was lovely and the girls were all sweet. The owner was a very, very nice lady. The room was clean,... More

This beautiful little hotel is set in quiet grounds and has a peaceful pool and terrace. We stayed for a days r&r before an early flight home. The place itself was lovely and the rooms good value however the stay ended up being terrible value because of the hugely overpriced extras - a quesadilla lunch cost 3 times what we'd... More
